Not sure about the others but didn't Apple just go through a huge case where they owed like a billion in back taxes to Ireland or something? I hate to reference the old argument that the more you tax these giant corporations, the more they'll park their accounts somewhere else, but with them it seems to be an ongoing thing. It's likely to be true of the others too, and if not yet, sure as shit will be the case if we crank taxes to a level AOC comes up with.

The whole "tax the rich to death" thing is a masturbatory leftist fantasy that evaporates the second it hits the books. They have the resources to sidestep it, and they do. There's no shortage of foreign banks willing to hold onto corporate money.
How do they entice such deposits? By being based in a country with a lower tax rate.
