What the fuck is this shit?

The clip in that article shows some sad-ass tired looking lady watching some religion-satire show on a TV next to a metallic helmet.

She bitches that she hates being stuck in "meatspace" and wishes she was a ball of light. The metal helmet speaks to her and asks if the woman wants to see what she really looks like. The woman says sure.

It cuts to the TV screen and the metal helmet projects it's form on the screen. She looks like a cat demon lesbian.

The woman watching the screen gets turned on. They both agree to masturbate together. End scene.

What the fuck is this show? Who is this for? Grown adults were paid well to put a show together and...this is what they came up with? Jesus Christ.
