I am more than happy to put out an unpopular opinion with the modern-day youths (on here as well) as long as I’m not violating my own principles.
I think generating some form of discussion, even if it degrades into an argument, is more important than pretending to agree with everyone to avoid offense.
That may be impossible due to the introduction of identity politics itself.
For me personally, I support the stances of some LBGT libertarians/conservatives, but I will never support them because those same people end up forcing LGBT progressive ideology onto other people.
That violates my personal principles and beliefs, and I can’t back those people up. It’s a frustrating situation.
