I know how you feel. Here in America, Hollywood is aggressively "re-imaging" classic characters using minorities:

Black Lesbian Batwoman

Black Superman

Black Lesbian Equalizer which was originally played by White Guy, then Black Man (Denzel Washington)

etc..

Hollywood basically admits they are too dumb to create a new character for minorities.
