Yeah. It's really difficult to ignore the stark and impossible to bridge gulf between how Americans are treated, and how Israel is treated. One is literally held down, beaten and raped, whereas the other is basically given anything it wants with slavish devotion -- No groveling is too debased for the US regime political toadies.

Yeah. The thing is that you didn't yet have the social context where becoming a dual-consciousness cyborg is reinforced with love-bombing propaganda & multi-billion dollar medical establishment

It's very tiresome that every time a Jewish person is criticized, there's someone from Tel Aviv logging on their burner account to mendaciously level accusations at people or attempt to obfuscate

Like, if you're pulling down a salary to try and limit the spread of (what you'd call "antisemitism" but in reality is just normal and legitimate criticism), then literally the best thing you can do is to log off and stop acting like a mafia whose job it is to squelch any critique or dissent.

Nothing is organically popular on YouTube (or any social media site) anymore. It is popular only if the people who control the network want it to be popular.

Any decent person is against kids being blown into piles of steaming meat, which is exactly what is getting shown in media as a result of the latest campaign by the Israeli military

But that's been happening since October. So why did the protests wait more than 6 months to occur? We can basically tell that this isn't an organic, spontaneous thing, so what's the agenda here?

If you follow any normie-tier political news, it's clearly to provide a new Current Thing. Now the most important news of the day, worth 20-30 stories a day, is crap like, "INNOCENT JEWISH GIRL gets pushed by PRO-RAPE PALESTINIAN PROTESTORS." Meanwhile, US congress is working hard to neuter TikTok, X, and other tech platforms, while criminalizing speech that criticizes Israel.

He has a book about Hollywood so it's pretty much guaranteed he would Notice things. It's sad he's so slavish to YouTube though.

Yup. The protests distract from what's actually going on and reframe (in America) the Israel/Palestine situation into one where you have the typical Right / Left tribalisms at play.

It is not at all surprising that Soros is funding the protests or that (reportedly) Israeli intelligence is at work organizing as well.

Important to note and specifically refute the lie that "Birthright citizenship" is guaranteed by the 14th amendment.

No sane person looking at the 14th amendment would understand that either the language or the spirit of the 14th amendment is meant to apply to people specifically crawling over the border to birth their spawn on American soil.

Every single government is a gang of thugs with a monopoly on violence over a specific territory. That's it, nothing more. Sometimes that gang can be on your side, oftentimes they're mostly on their own side, and sometimes they can be downright bastards.

Lets not push delusional ideas about "protecting rights" or whatever.

As far as censorship -- I think it's reasonable and correct to flag any game that promotes sexual deviancy (whether it's a character or a flag) as MA or equivalent rating. Beyond that parents can take some responsibility.

That's because the criminals are the ones who want to know what you're spending money on

Same thing with anything really. Happened with the internet in general. Mass market appeal = Drooling morons pour in.

Also, importantly, games were games and not interactive movies. The move towards interactive movies (e.g. Last of Us, recent God of War) is a betrayal of a core principal of games.

Women who make false rape accusations (like these actresses) need to be severely punished. They weren't raped. It's a complete lie to pretend like they were raped.

Similarly, foreign men who prostitute women need to be severely punished.

Both Weinstein and his accusers should be rotting away.

It's because they are 2nd rate colonies that they are always trying to push harder on the Regime ideology to show how loyal and committed they are.

MelonieMac is an egirl / attention-seeker, and while she's better than many other women that are actively prostituting themselves online, you should always view women like her skeptically.

Most of the core 40K rules fit on one page. What actually takes up space are clarifications & the rules exceptions applied to specific units (Normally 4+, but Extra Cool Property therefore 5+).

I'm not a big 40K guy as I prefer some other rules systems, but most of the 40K guys I know have been talking about GrimDark as a way to shed the GW tax.

4
truenationalist 4 points ago +5 / -1

Size of rulebook seems irrelevant since most of them don't play to begin with

Doctor Who can & should just retcon all of the stuff beyond David Tennant or Matt Smith (take your pick).

That being said, it's not going to happen officially and I haven't seen much fan effort to salvage it away from the ongoing vandalism. So as a franchise this one looks like it's probably dead forever.

Lawyers can't stop you from creating your own spin off. They can only prevent you from publishing & selling it.

I don't expect anyone here would be trying to start up their own physical print book sales or physical hobby model sales, though. The threat of legal issue is pretty much just a cope to avoid doing the work.

I'm not a BattleTech fan so I don't have a handle on the nuances of the setting, but it seems fairly straightforward to clone since the setting seems to only have one major conceit (big manned robots).

Creating a setting with some names-filed-off factions with new characters would be easy. For copyright-safety you can't use literally-the-same mech designs & names but there's enough mech designs and material out there from various properties that it would be very difficult to claim something is a infringement rather than a derivative work.

There's good reason to be livid, because Leftists don't care about canon in franchises. Woke infestation basically signals the end of the franchise as we've seen with Star Wars, Star Trek, Dr. Who, Witcher, Marvel, etc.

There's no point in caring about the IP if the rules of the IP can be changed on a whim based on some Leftist's personal feelings.

The correct action in this time is for fans to simply draw a line in the sand. No more GW products, no more GW books or lore are canon (most of the recent stuff is shite anyway since they decided that Belisarius Cawl can just magick do anything with no rhyme or reason).

5
truenationalist 5 points ago +5 / -0

There has to be someone who is making a non-Woke BattleTech these days.

This would still be diversity pandering and bad.

To be honest, the greater importance GW has given Sisters of Battle, female inquisitors, how every Eldar main character these days tends to be female -- They're already pandering hard.

I'd much rather they play their hand this way, it clarifies the situation.
