I can block posts just fine, but the block button on comments is meaningless. If the mods want to let a mentally ill Indian rampage through the sub, OK, but I need the ability to filter him.
It's a little weird that people like trump4045 and RaceCreatesCulture caught bans for being too edgy but some troll is allowed to fantasize about child rape? Is that not the violent ideation that's a bannable offense here?
I mean, if he wants to make a stupid argument about lowering the age of consent, that's one thing. But dude is just choking his chicken.
Just guessing but, it would make sense to me that the “KiA rules” reports go to the KiA mods while the “site wide violations” reports go to mods and site admins?
I’ve never seen someone get “shadow banned”, much less in an automated manner by the site (you can effectively filter them out with Community Filters but that’s something else, setting rules on who can post/comment in a community based on their account statistics like age/score)
Currently account score is only altered by upvotes, not by downvotes. Score can only ever go up. That would need to be fixed before anything is based on score.
While true, it would remain inherently flawed in that brand new shill accounts can just upvote eachother in random dead communities anyway, rendering score filters ultimately pointless... So I use a score filter and an account age filter on my communities and checking the logs indicate they cover the majority of attempts; though they are obviously much smaller than this community - which I think could benefit from adding as neutral a party as possible to the mod team (I suggest Smith)
Weight the upvotes by account age though
Meh, nothing stops them from sitting on their fleet of accounts for X days before running their upvote circlejerk operation. Having lived through the death of ConPro, there is basically nothing you can do that can’t be countered, outside of a quality and uncompromised mod (team, but that gets harder still)
There are posts that disappear all the time though, and DoM has to come back through and approve them. So there is SOME way to use the reporting system to get rid of these faggots without mod action.
Do any of the removals show up here? :

You can tell what process did the removal, there are mod actions (almost exclusively done by dom here), global filter removals (filter options set by the global admins, things like link shorteners etc get removed by this), and lastly community filter removals which I don’t think dom has set up here yet. You’d think if there were an automated removal upon a certain number of reports that the recent pedo shit would be long gone by now...
There is a huge contingent of people here who are militantly against reporting, pretty much the only people who get reported are being reported by the pro-Israel crowd.
You can see where DoM is approving posts here: https://scored.co/c/KotakuInAction2/logs?moderator=&type=approvepost

Ahh, in this context all that means is that he hit “ignore report” on someone’s report of that post/comment - the post/comment was never actually hidden from view though. Sometimes when he does this he will even post a comment reply under the reported item saying “reported for rule 16 - not a violation, no sanction” or whatever, I get those all the time
