Between this and the Black Samurai pandering, who the fuck wants to buy this shit?

The same idiots who keep buying the AssCreed slop (almost) every year for the past decade-and-a-half.

Ghost Dog from the film Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai was also a cool black samurai who I'd personally recognize. Though I guess he wouldn't really count; he was more of an eccentric modern-day hitman who lived by the code of Bushido.

And even if everything we hear about him was true, then he would barely qualify as a historical footnote. It's fucking pathetic.

Thomas Jefferson had some amazing quotes about newspapers that easily apply to TV today.

“The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers.”

“I do not take a single newspaper, nor read one a month, and I feel myself infinitely the happier for it.”

“… the man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”

LOL, I blew a couple of minds in one post. Maybe I'm the real Mind Flayer!

Yeah, there's a Mind Flayer called the Emperor that you can romance and have sex with. Even though Mind Flayers don't have a reproductive system that is in-line with vertebrates, and thus don't have a sex drive, and thus wouldn't seek out any kind of sexual experience. Never mind how different their thought processes are from everyone else's; companionship and romance would be incomprehensibly alien concepts to them, especially towards beings they view as food. But it's what sexually-obsessed (and frustrated) Redditors want, so of course Larian put it in.

Female gamers don't want RPGs, they want fucking dating simulators.

Larian already did that where they "patched out" the "bug" that made party members super horny and come onto you within the first hour of playtime. Because that's totally what it was, a bug. It was absolutely NOT a feature and the game was obviously NOT designed that way to appeal to the Reddit faggots that represented the majority of people who played the early access (or at least were the only ones permitted to give feedback).

Unfortunately, Gale and Astarion are still in the game, as is the drag queen, the bear scene, the horny Mind Flayer, the ogre and bugbear...I swear, this game sounds more depraved than a hentai visual novel.

Let's try goading China or North Korea into nuking it for us, Br'er Rabbit style. "Oh no, PLEASE don't fire an intercontinental ballistic missile at San Francisco! Please, PLEASE, Mister Communist, sir! ANYTHING but that!"

It's a race to the bottom between it and Portland. Los Angeles, Washington DC, Seattle, and Chicago aren't far behind.

I have a hunch none of this is real and she's just writing some of her degenerate sexual fantasies.

I really wish they would get rid of that stupid fucking podcaster in particular. He was hardly relevant in the previous movie (actually, the entire subplot with him, Millie Bobbie Brown, and the fatass was pointless and unnecessary), completely useless in this one, and annoying every step of the way.

Someone should really make a movie with little to no dialogue that plays entirely from the monsters' perspectives. That would be cool.

FromTheShadows 22 points ago +22 / -0

That's terrible! I move that the actors organize a strike for higher pay, better hours, more gigs, and quotas galore to ensure they'll always have worked lined up and people of all races, sexes, sexualities, and pronouns are represented in all shows and movies going forward. And that they should be ready to keep it going for years if they have to, and not stop until ALL their demands are met!

Yeah, there sure are a lot of serial killers on hiking trails and in the countryside...in Hollywood movies. Yeah, they've been drilling it into people's heads for almost a century that all rural people are mentally unstable inbred hicks who will kill anyone for looking at them funny, and you need to stay the hell out of them and remain deep in the metropolis, where it's safe. When the truth is the vast majority of criminals and murderers that are hostile to outsiders tend to live in the urban sprawls.

White bear = unreasonably violent

Hey, when you live in a shithole that's cold all year round, that hardly has any vegetation for you to supplement your diet with, and where nearly everything you're supposed to prey on can easily outrun, outswim, and outfight you, you'd be pretty unreasonable too! Especially when you come across one of those walking cans of spam like those weak-ass hairless apes with their puny strength and pathetic run speed.

Then they should stop identifying as women. Problem solved.

The hyenas were never part of Mufasa's kingdom. He spells this out early on in the film when he says the "shadowy place" they inhabit is "beyond our borders," which implies it's a separate nation-state entirely. The only "oppressing" Mufasa does is when the hyenas leave their territory and trespass into his, which is just ordinary border enforcement. Besides that (and that one little incident where they tried to kill his son), whatever they did in their lands wasn't any of his business.

The hyenas weren't an undercurrent society that festered. They were a separate one entirely that failed, likely as a result of their own stupidity and decadent culture, which by all appearances was incompatible with the Pridelands.' Which is probably why they weren't part of it (and the "circle of life" that went with it).

FromTheShadows 34 points ago +34 / -0

Except when the hyenas were allowed into the Pridelands by Scar, the entire realm became a lifeless wasteland not much different from the Elephant Graveyard that the hyenas inhabited originally. Which makes you realize it was most likely their own damn fault they were starving in the first place.

The original Lion King is a pretty damn based film in retrospect.

Not really a surprise. Lifestyles and cultures that advertise themselves as "rebellious" and "counterculture" while also encouraging hedonism all involve heavy drinking, smoking, and drug use. There's no such thing as moderation for these fucks.

Did Cyberpunk 2077 legitimately become a good game, or did an influx of tourists who've hardly played games and thus wouldn't know a good one from a trite one just buy it up in droves because they liked a crappy Shitflix cartoon based on it?

FromTheShadows 15 points ago +15 / -0

It was a simple binary question, dudes, and you couldn't answer it. Oh wait, my mistake, you don't believe in binary. Aside from things being binary and non-binary, that is.

It's been over a decade and a half, and that's still the most relevant they've ever been. Women's basketball players are only ever going to be associated with that comment, all because the media had to raise a shit-kicking fit over it.
