I'm still confused about Leftists lauding therapy as such a great and wonderful thing, but then using "go to therapy, seek help" etc as an insult to suggest that only broken people need to go to therapy. I guess it's just another rancid hypocrisy to add to the list.

Jung and Freud are gnostic mystics, in the same way that Marxism is a religion dressed up in economic and political science, psychology has always been a religion dressed up in the science of brain chemistry and health.
Of course they laud it, it has become one of their sacraments.
The dark inversion of confession specifically.
Which is where the insult comes from. In the same way that people might use 'You need to go to confession'
I can think confession is a great and amazing blessing, while also admonishing you and suggesting you need to go do something about something you just did or said in a somewhat snide way, there's no real contradiction there but for me being a bit flippant about something so sacred.
They have many hypocrisies and contradictions, this doesn't seem like one of the stronger ones to me.
