The Hidden Tribes report says 8% of Americans are progressive activists (aka the regressive left). If we're defining their enemies as devoted conservatives, regressives do actually outnumber them by 2%.
Even if this was put together well in advance, it's impossible for these methods to be more secure. The process is basically in person voting with extra steps, which means more opportunity for things to go wrong. Even if we assume no fraud or errors, it's only as secure as in person voting.

Even if you airdropped printed versions of the article on the island, they couldn't read it because they know any of the languages Wikipedia is available in.
