Oh the trans are never good programmers, as famous as they get is for their 'identity'.

Programming doesn't care about what you believe or how you feel, only what is, so they have an uphill battle to put it mildly.

Apparently he can't discharge the debt in bankruptcy, so he's also in debtor's prison for ever or maybe there's a time limit I don't know.

His new company is in his father's name, but they'll sue that and say it's not really his father running it.

It's another case of liberals trying to outcompete everyone else on being morally reprehensible. I really think they don't know what is right and wrong anymore. They're like disoriented divers that die swimming down because they can't tell which way is up.

From 3 minutes in, he keeps trashing Democrats and saying "we need to this and that".

Or maybe why are you still a "we" and not a "we the people". Just get aboard the Trump train for God's sake.

edit: every remotely famous female computer programmer is trans.

They're too busy sending Senators copies of all the kompromat they have on them to make sure she never gets confirmed.

If Gaetz' DoJ will actually prosecute the cheaters then we'll have a lot more Gaetzes elected.

Trump is making his appointments Too Big to Rig.

There are so many that the deeps are dead set against it's spreading their forces too thin. As a practical matter the deeps will have to accept some of them just to keep the government from collapsing.

"but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided"

You're right, but the Senate rules make it an office with no power.

4
fauxgnaws 4 points ago +4 / -0

Unfortunately he presides over the Senate, he's not the President of the Senate.

So he doesn't make the rules or determine sessions, just a tie-breaker. Which is good, but the establishment just whips up an extra vote so it's largely symbolic.

Sunset clause can just be extended for every department in an omnibus bill.

Agencies need a hard end date and then Congress can create a new, duplicate agency if they want to that starts from scratch with new buildings, new hires. Even if they basically just 'roll over' the old department into the new one it'll at least give a real opportunity to purge the waste and corruption.

If you had a perfect memory then you'd be able to find that video. Like if you remember who was interviewing him, what event, when it took place, and so on it would be easy to find it.

It still exists somewhere. Maybe we'd have to resort to visiting the "60-minutes museum" in some 2-bit town, but we could find it.

The rest of us with imperfect memories often revisit a quote that we only realized was important after the fact and find it was somewhat different than how we remembered it.

Well a used Telsa may replace a new sale, which would actually hurt Tesla if they don't have enough customers, but it seems that they can sell however many cars they make.

Although cybertruck is so hideous they may have trouble selling them now that nerd lefties are boycotting Tesla.

Not surprising. I predicted a long time ago they'd let Trump win to prevent hot civil war and instead rig the house/senate races to stymie him.

The immediate goal with Majority Leader is to prevent recess appointments, ultimate goal to remove after impeachment.

Thune will keep the Senate "session" going indefinitely even when no Senators are working in DC and no votes are taking place. They'll reject Trump's picks so he'll appoint some deep-state approved guys.

Trump will then go to the Supremes and say "bullshit!" and normally they would say "too bad, strict interpretation" but since they've already been pissed off by the lawfare and having to rule on Presidential Immunity (they wanted it kept vague as a check) they'll instead rule that Trump can recess appoint if a quorum isn't in DC for more than a weekend.

But in the meantime Trump's already appointed some deep-staters, so he'll fire them during recess since they serve "at the pleasure of the President". ACLU will sue to prevent that because they weren't fired for cause and it'll go to the Supremes who echoing their Immunity will say "if you piss us off again we're making Trump world dictator now fuck off with this bullshit".

The Senators will be royally pissed off having to fly back and forth every weekend and even more so actually do their jobs, so they'll then finally appoint the good guys to the Cabinet. So that'll eat up the first year or two of his term - enough time to rig the House with enough for permanent impeachment.

Author bio:

Andrea is an Affiliate Professor [in] Santa Barbara

It's even more pathetic. She's in California! Her husband's vote was entirely symbolic because CA was guaranteed blue.

A hissy fit because her husband was way less than a millionth responsible for the popular win and zero responsible for the electoral win.

Haven't heard where RFK jr is going.

I really hope he's part of the cabinet where he can take on pharma, but I can see Trump throwing him under the bus to make a deal with the deeps.

Maybe they are holding him back for a recess appointment because pharma has so much influence on senators he wouldn't make it through?

It's not just her, there was another woman who arrived separately and was parked on the street.

The perpetrator said "it was dark in there, like a bunker" - maybe from him being harassed by other nutjobs?

They probably have a private discord where they doxed him and many people harassing him. Sounds like a criminal conspiracy to me and if the shoe was on the other foot Biden's DOJ would RICO them in a heartbeat.

We don't know what Trump's plans are.

Saying we're going to convert to 100% tariff-funded government is probably Madman Theory so other countries won't resist targeted tariffs that force BYD to build in America for instance.

If somebody is saying "Trump's plan" won't work they've either defined what they believe Trump's plan is, which may or may not be what his actual plan is, or it's just fear porn.

It's worse than just being insulated, it's reinforced by the scoring.

Any reasonable comments on reddit are at the very bottom marked with negative votes to reinforce that 'everybody' finds it reprehensible. Even if you sort by controversial and see a few rational comments, the next level boosts the most insane hivemind reply (also controversial because the sane people are there downvoting it).

Scoring should work where each upvote is worth say 5 downvotes.

They'd need 5x more hivemind voters (since each user only gets one vote) to drown out minority views and so what would happen is you'd see retard hivemind view and then not too far below it an actual sane, factual, reasonable view.

I'm convinced that the reason they actually hid up/down totals was to purposely encourage this hivemind.

The way I think about it is these people won't do 2 minutes of research to find out if they are wrong about something.

So that's the level of sympathy I have for them, under 2 minutes' worth.

When some lefty says "dictator on day 1" or "fine people" and I say hey you can find out you're wrong in 2 minutes by reading the actual quote and they don't do it they get no cares from me.

SNL actors in the 70s and 90s were awesome.

Chris Farley doing anything was worth watching. Norm. Like how Nicholas Cage brings his all to B movies and makes them watchable.

The show was always trash.

A weasel answer just means you have to ask more questions.

If you want to convince an audience, use reason and facts and don't accept their premise, sure.

If you want to convince that guy you have to understand that he's not a rational thinker. He is "raising his voice and shaking" - he's a cult member, he's indoctrinated, he has faith in globohomo. Reason is not going to work on him. It's like trying to force a horse to drink water.

He has to question his own faith and he'll never do that on his own. He'll refuse to answer your questions pretty quickly, but it'll start him down that road and give you a trump card to shut him up; when he realized he's going to get hit with uncomfortable questions every time he starts a rant he's going to stop bringing it up, whereas on some level he probably enjoys the adrenaline high of adversarial combat.

Sounds like a person who believes it's not discrimination to discriminate against whites because it's really reparations or recrimination some other reframing.

The only thing you can do is try to get them to think for themselves.

What percentage would whites have to be for it to be discrimination? How many years later do whites have to pay reparations for slavery? How much total money has to be given out? The best answer they'll manage is "until they're equal" to which you can ask what happens if blacks just like the reparations and don't even try to study or work hard, they continue forever? Where's the cutoff?

They've never actually thought about any of this because if they actually tried to their narrative would implode. They'll only have trite dismissive answers, like then Kamala just scoffed to 'how many months should abortion be legal'? But just asking these questions will plant a bug in their head that eats away at the narrative. They'll be trying to sleep or in the shower and it'll pop into their head yeah but how much is enough?

If you really want to also piss them off, whatever answer they give just say well you agree they needed reparations but we've already given way more than enough. This will drive them crazy because if they can't say when it's enough then they can't say it's not already enough.

I'm kind of surprised liberals even know Trump won.

With AI now they can just replace everything Trump does with Kamala and pretend she's President. They'd like all of Trump's policies anyway if they actually knew them.

MSM: "President Trump AI Kamala says we have to deport illegal aliens documentally-challenged Americans no matter the cost" liberals cheer
MSM: "President Trump AI Kamala says no tax on tips" liberals cheer
...

Also many Anime authors are more versed in Western philosophy than the best Western authors.

It's not even their culture and they know it better. Why? Because we won the world wars so they studied us to find out why so they could copy and perfect it. That's why they all wear suits, have stock markets and adversarial justice systems, and so on.

Meanwhile our schools don't even teach U.S. Government anymore, much less Plato or the other greats.
