Thank you for the thoughtful reply. I just ask because I’ve seen a couple of posters who are arguably trolling. There are some who seem to genuinely engage sometimes but would often times derail a discussion with their own personal crusade, because it was impossible for him to just not bring it up. I understand that that behavior can lead to an extended timeout. I just see others who are clearly engaging (in my opinion) to rile up people here. I also have seen brigaders here from rdrama in the past but I haven’t seen them in a while.

I would amend Rule 1 to delete the ban on manifestos. They're rarely posted here but when one is newsworthy, like the Nashville tranny shooter, the rule is ignored anyway. And the Nashville shooter's discussion was civil. Keeping Rule 2 would mean that people won't be using manifestos to glorify violence or the shooters themselves.
