I want to highlight and congratulate the two Jewish writers/directors, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. It's so wonderful seeing two Jewish men leading a big budget film in Hollywood, they're so underrepresented.

People didn't walk away because the two even said in an interview about how they "love emasculating leading men" and spend this whole movie doing it. They didn't walk away because the marketing strategy is to insult and mock over 80% of the traditional target market.

Finally Chris Pine, who is also Jewish, accepted the role after over a dozen others passed. Jewish people are so under-represented in Hollywood, so we really should shine a light on their under-representation.
