I would say it started with disney star wars and ghostbusters really. Before that we had the resident evil movies and underworld series with op female stars aswell but they didnt shy away from casting hot actresses and show them in sexy outfits back then. Since that is gone there isnt much left to these type of movies. We still maybe get something like Atomic Blonde or Peppermint with a relativ op women but they also casted good looking women for that which can also get hurt sometimes even if some of the melee fighting looks ridiculous when they throw guys arround twice their size. Now its just bad writing/casting and no fanservice and weak/stupid men.

I only skipped through the first episode, didnt like the artstyle much. And it was more tell not show. Also doesnt seem to be a power fantasy or has much blood/gore or fanservice in it. I have yet to see a good explanation why it is supposed to be good and you cant really expect me to empathize with an immortal being. Legolas was also the most boring character in LotR.

I find Children of Men way worse. There isnt even a good message there. As if one woman (which is black and pregnant) can somehow save humanity when nobody gets kids anymore. And even the white man at the end has to row the boat while he is shot to get the black woman to safety and apparently she cant row her self. And there isnt even one likeable character in the movie.

That grayjay app sounds pretty good especially if it works similar like the dissenter app used to work where you can also make offsite comments and follow a creator on all platforms. But this will only become relevant if enough people use it and if bigtech goes even more overboard with the censorship. Also not so sure if this works on the desktop but the idea seems good.
