This fantasy of communists that they'd all be artists and musicians and authors and it's only the 8 hours of labor a day required to survive that prevents them from creating the sublime - it's never going to die. Fundamentally this is a battle against childish delusion. Reality is the you're average and the most you can contribute is likely what you're already doing at work. Accepting your lot gives you the freedom to pursue your dreams. All of these people are spiritual slaves.

Even this coked out masochist knows that you never apologize. Wish our side would learn.

I listened to RFK Jr a ton back when he was on Air America. He's a pretty good symbol of the segment of the party left behind.

It's so goddamned funny - they're getting nothing from Biden.

That being said - I'm jealous that their representation actively tries to help them. We get the worst of both worlds.

Is it possible for a part of the country that is 100% white to ever have a story told about it again?

The older I get the more I believe that there should be persistent gender segregation throughout life. Interaction should be an exception for family. Both sides would be far better off.

I bet a ton of these were white liberals exploiting the opportunity to prostrate

It is extremely important that somebody, somewhere, much smarter than me, is working on a pure model that can be self-hosted somehow. It seems like a good application for distributed computing. We are outgunned

There have been bad popes before. Many of them are probably in hell. Christ's church will survive. This said, I pray for Pope Francis. I disagree with much he has said and done but I won't let that stop me.

His faculties were failing. He was a blindingly brilliant guy (don't care about anybody's thoughts on organized religion, read his work and tell me otherwise) - I think losing this made it impossible for him to proceed. I didn't like it and wish it didn't happen, but it's more ethical for him to step down than to let one of the subordinates use him to their own ends.

Obviously it depends on the manufacturer and the board but the community very much opposes this sort of thing. The RepRap ethos still rules for the most part.

This is not possible because the firmware is open source.

Somebody needs to make Fetterman Simulator and put it on Steam

Where is this music video? Why is she so uptight about what can't be that big of a deal?

Two thoughts: 1. This is success, right? Men are displaced. The men leaving opens an opportunity for women to finally thrive. I'm sure it'll go great. 2. Let's survey the top 15% most productive women in these environments now. I guarantee they're going where these men are, because they don't want to endure the fallout either.

All actors are retarded, no surprise there. The thing that irritates me is that every single media outlet, even supposedly conservative ones, give this incredibly generous definition of CRT. They always lay it out as completely normal and rational - leaving the reader to not even question it, let alone consider it controversial. "I'm not a racist!"

Not defending him - but this is a tough spot. For him to change course would be an admission that he's also responsible for the ill effects. He should be more pragmatic and open about the circumstances surrounding the desperate work I'm sure he thought was being done to save lives. This stance does nothing but alienate his remaining supporters and embolden the enemy.

It's just not very complicated. They don't like Joe and want him to run again. With gridlock comes the opportunity to isolate him and pin the bad outcomes to him.

I know nobody really knows what's going on over there, but good lord how does Russia just keep fighting with a hand tied around it's back? At what point are they going to get tired of this?

He's a bad guy. No two ways about it. Not interested in any association with him. Taliban is probably interested because he converted to Islam.

Simple as that.
