I tried to get this switched back by my software vendor, but they said they have no way of modifying the official labels. I did find a workaround (put a new aux label on at the top with the original wording, which caused the offending one to scroll off the bottom).

big respect for doing this.

okay, and how would it help things to pretend the phrase "shooting a lame horse" is a murder threat? it isn't, you know it isn't, and everyone who isn't culturally ignorant knows it isn't.

this just desensitizes normies to actual threats. unfortunately there are a lot of actual threats and even attacks against conservatives, so why not highlight those instead?

but there is so many real happenings you could (and should) be highlighting right now instead. like the Democrat who killed a Republican kid over politics, getting released on bail. a strategy I've seen many RW twitter accounts now do is "remember when [recent outrageous event the MSM is memory-holing] happened?". don't let the public forget about those actually important events.

making a fuss out of petty shit is just shooting yourself in the foot. by helping spread this you're basically acting as the controlled opposition that you rightfully despise.

I've seen no proof whatsoever for this story. none. not even evidence that he's been fired. Langdon has been outspoken for a long time yet kept his job.

this is outragebait muckracking. convince me otherwise.

prediction: this will get nothing more than silent downvotes and a few aggressive replies with circumstantial evidence.

after spending 2 years militantly supporting every COVID measure, "health experts" are now making a career from researching how it was a big mistake

most big tech censorship is done behind closed doors with no public records, and a significant amount is done at the request of the state department. that stuff isn't going away. this ruling might stop overt censorship, like a person having their account banned, and even that is doubtful.

that pic is somewhat ironic, because Rob Reiner is now a hardcore TDS libtard.

Yes, but DeSantis won't get to pull that stunt again, not with Martha's Vineyard. he scored a major optics victory here, but he struck too close to home. They'll just pull whatever levers of power they need to block shipments to MV.

do you actually think elites care about your taxpayer's money?

they have to go completely berserk at this. that's a core part of their playbook: they can't let the right wing have any victories, because it sets a precedent.

just a reminder: people like these who were just fired, tend to fail upwards.

they publicly badmouth the former employee on twitter, and there's tacit understanding for every potential employee reading, that these are still loyal soldiers for The Cause™.

so if your Cause is "accidentally" overlooking the sexualization of children on your platform, then these are prime candidates.

there's no spin here, and my message is clear. tribal thinking is unhealthy.

if a story doesn't pass the smell test, you should call it out, and other people shouldn't railroad you just because they really want to believe a story is real. so many stories on the internet are maliciously framed if not flat-out lies, and reasonable doubt should be exercised.
