That in itself means that the EU treaties would be defacto illegal treaties if they were inconsistent with the Constitution.

Signing the treaty by the president was illegal as polish president is sworn to protect the country's independence. However the president didn't resign in disgrace and no action was taken against him. He ended up dying and mysterious plane crash and since then his twin is trying to bring us all back to PreWWII socialism period.

I constantly have heard from people here about how Poland is based, guess that is not true anymore.

Poland (current iteration) was only based for like 2 years. Then government started taking back economic freedoms granted by the commies on their way out.

Debasement has continued since then - with the latest developments being illegal covid restrictions and historically high tax rises combined with Supreme Leader frequently insulting private business owners.

Just like current Polish government promised to increase tax-free income limit. It's increased pretty much only for part-time workers and rapidly decreases as you approach minimum wage.

Same in Poland.

Media propaganda (sometimes even exclusion by state media that are obligated to show other parties) tries it best to paint minor right-wing/libertarian parties in bad light (commies and socialist parties get a pass).

Then we have "proportional" election system that not only favors big parties, but it also excludes minor ones (but German minority gets a pass and they usually get 1 MP in).

We ended up with coalition from center to right of minor parties to bust through the vote ceiling.

Yesterday one of the libertarian MPs was assaulted by the leftists mob.

Polish government will issue regional non-lockdowns once we hit 1000 cases, starting with least vaxed regions - regardless of where the cases originated from.

They did same in Poland as a part of Anti-Terrorist law, since everyone buying a prepaid is potentially a terrorist (/s), but there were no limits on number of prepaids that can be purchased or any restriction on second-hand sales. It was quite a deal for resellers.

It may be a test run before SE puts Avengers in GP.

It could be that publishers wanted to ensure relatively good initial player base and made deal before demo turned out to be relatively good.

[...] everyone knows this is a political tool, it has nothing to do with a rule of law, [...]

Why is he talking about polish lockdowns and fines from Health and Safety office?

80s seem correct looking at the direction of current government politics.

I mean, in Poland some hotel owners received some shade buyout offers, supposedly some where from the government. And Poland supposedly had strictest restrictions on Hotels in EU.

If it's going to be criminalized and decriminalized whenever government needs some autistic screeching to take away the attention of press and the people, then Yes, it matters.

Sham trial with little to no consequences will definitely help men and boys when they get accused of domestic violence or denied parental rights during divorces, etc. I don't know how much of toxic feminists ended up in judicial system, but even 1 will be able to cause a lot of damage as a retort.

It's going to be completely political.

I'm assuming government is now rallying everyone up to hide the fact that they're loosing against business owners legally opening up their businesses.

even if I do feel schadenfreude seeing this shit finally used against a leftist.

After over 40 separate courts in the country confirmed sanitary inspection office has no basis for shutting down or fining businesses, MP Berkowicz pulled UNO reverse card and did surprise inspection in Sanitary Inspection Office - Not even a minute in and inspector had to leave for 5 minutes to calm herself.

I'm not saying that I enjoy bureaucrats suffering, but it puts a smile on my face.

Which is why Polish government is making sure only people that ended up with at least 2 week long hospitalization can expect any sort of compensation (if they survive) and amount awarded bureaucratically is non-negotiable and not a subject to a fair trial.

In Poland, during previous parliament term, the ruling party had both houses of parliament and the president, thus the party chairman was de facto Sejm, Senate and the President. And since he can decide whether to publish constitutional tribunal rulings, he's also the Judiciary.

Tell that to fringe lib-rights, that believe "Lib Unity".

1
TimPhoeniX 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's kinda long story, but it boils down to fringe group of libertarians claiming that co-liberals (conservative liberals) aren't true libertarians and vocally opposing them whenever possible.

Since biggest co-lib party is distancing themselves from protests (all they wanted was for Constitutional Tribunal to require clarification on prerequisites, since currently they were lax enough to allow termination of pregnancies with non-lethal defects, but Supreme Leader of Poland wanted mob attention of his mishandling of pandemic), the fringe libertarians decided to join the protests in spirit of LibUnity,

Of course, the SS (women'S Strike) is a marxist movement that hates capitalism and as one of their current demands they want contract work outlawed, not to mention that they want abortion of demand instead of returning to surprisingly well working Status Quo (Apart from those moments when government want to cover up something and they dangled abortion rights in front of journalists, it was, in a way, an acceptable compromise).

LibRights went to "support the Whamen" against the government with Gadsen Flags and got threaded on. And later they were explained on FB that capitalism oppresses "Whamen".

Rioters apparently had hammers. Sickles must have been not readily available.

Jokes aside, whichever party comes out on top of it, they are going to be for big government, more and higher taxes and ever expanding welfare.

There are also arguments that the animals are treated badly, however the new bill in now way prevents import of furs or halal/kosher meat from countries with lower or non-existent standards of rising animals for furs/ritual slaughter.

Current government leans heavily into economic marxism. Also, is it leftist faggotry if you want to ban fur farming and ritual slaughter because animals are just like people?
