Problem is that white people don't tend to respond to criticism the way those with an inferiority complex do, so their efforts really accomplish little other than removing one more diversion standing between bad faith actors and too much free time.
"feminist Christian"

Polygamous behaviour is ONLY meant for the rare extremes
From what I understand, "harems" where one man will have many girlfriends are pretty normal in south east Asia (for this reason a lot of women are lesbians, because all the men there are scum). With this, a very significant segment of the feminist movement is coming out of the south Korean feminist cult, the "World Mission Church of God," which is headed by a woman who claims to be the Earthly incarnation of God. It's a bit easier to understand the radicals when you recognize that a lot of their ideas come out of that sort of culture.
maybe they should be asking why people don't want to watch western media anymore
I shit you not, it started in World of Warcraft. As there was an endless succession of "conquering hero" stories in each expansion, eventually the player base started asking for a change of tone, more threatening enemies, and stories where we don't actually win in the end. This was right around where Hollywood began it's dark and gritty phase, and the rest is history.
Basically the problem is with people trying to live in fictional worlds, then when that proves insufficient they try to change the media to fill that role instead of changing how they interact with media and the real world.
Given that puberty in girls has been trending earlier as industrial society progresses, its almost a certainty that "she bleedin'" was a mid-teen thing for most of history anyway. An age when most boys were already working actual jobs, if they weren't years into hard labor on the family business anyway, because the concept of adulthood were usually based around them. So they wouldn't be some innocent "child wife," but more of more world ready highschooler.
Good analysis of what's going on here. So many people, even on these forums, get caught up debating "what's the right age?" that they entirely miss the real world issues that they're attempting to define. They approach it from the perspective of regulating a recreational activity rather than one of the most deeply significant issues which defines the course of most people's lives. It might be easy to imagine a consensual one night stand, while missing the harm done by arranged child marriages.
Edit: I actually have a pet theory that the focused debate on age is deliberately ignoring the base reason we care: that much older people can easily mislead younger people due to their significantly greater experience with life as a human. I feel as though, if we were to have a significant discussion about this type of abuse it may threaten some significant tech companies who take advantage of the same lack of worldly experience to addict and entrap youth openly. A very significant portion of which does, in fact, prey upon youthful sex drives.
Yea, for all the noise they make, sexy women in media gives women the same sort of power fantasy as oiled buff dudes in jock straps give men (assuming it isn't overtly sexual). The first couple companions he had in the modern series played this role extremely well, but yes, they have once again completely misunderstood the point of the exercise by ditching that element.
I just can't understand these people. First they claim that the show isn't for us, and I'm thinking "okay, well this is something I can get behind, since I definitely don't want something like this," and things are feeling pretty good... but then they go and try to ban everything else, and I'm left wondering "okay so is it supposed to be for me or not, because don't get me excited with promises that it isn't for me when you clearly want me to watch it."
They just can't seem to make up their mind in this weird, unrequited crush they appear to have on straight white men, and it's starting to get uncomfortable as they miss every ordinary social cue to lower their flag and move on.
Escaflowne would like a word with you.
On an interesting note, isekai used to be a genre targeted more towards a female audience. The more astute of you might be able to find some meaning in this fact, and relate it to the broader social climate we are currently experiencing.
