It's a great infographic because the artist fundamentally misunderstands how trees work, just like how SJWs fundamentally misunderstand how reality works.

I think it's largely how some idiots have been talking about it. Slinging around rhetoric about stooping to their level and such nonsense. If you do believe this is appropriate action to take (and I concede there are strong arguments for specific instances), then be diligent and professional in how you go about it. This is both to protect yourselves from consequences of mistaken actions, and to show the contrast between our abilities, like comparing CHAZ to the trucker convoy in Ottawa.

People don't like it because their opposition to cancel culture wasn't only because it was other people doing it to them. People had a problem with it because fighting with our own friends and families is pants-on-head retarded, when the main threat we're facing right now is foreign adversaries who stoke these fires specifically because we can't do anything serious to oppose them when we're wrapped up in in-fighting.

Nobody blames you for having strong feelings. People blame you when you fly off half-cocked and lash out without even recognizing the lay of the land. People are pissed off with you because you're losing the mental game.

Because I don't want to copy the same bullshit tit-for-tat slap fighting, instead of working towards something that's actually substantial?

Or how about coming up with your own ideas for how to create a better society?

Sumsuch 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yea, but that's also why it's funny when the woke crap they've helped promote in foreign economies ends up coming home to roost.

DC doesn't seem to know how to write a girlboss without making her a raging cunt for absolutely no reason at all.

Actually celibate? Or just not getting any?

It's about the always on surveillance technology which is recording everything it sees/hears. We are developing technologies which are rapidly becoming far too dangerous to a society which is willing to accept corruption as just a matter of fact. Even allowing corrupt actors to dominate won't save anyone, because simple mistakes will have increasingly catastrophic consequences.

Thanks jackass, to you and everyone else who just sits by watching while humanity is enslaved by forces which never even asked you to surrender.

For me I refuse to allow perverts to watch me have sex, to spy on my wife and children 24/7, knowing that a non-zero number of them are corrupt pieces of shit. Thanks to a funny quirk of fate I happened to be celibate for over a decade now while I've been sorting out what influences were driving the perverse culture I got caught up in when I was younger. I was prepared to trust society and build a life again, with an incredible career, when the Covid lockdowns hit. Now that they've played their hand by showing that they're prepared to use all of the worlds resources in an attempt to force their surveillance state into place, I've decided to remain celibate until their bullshit has been resolved.

Blaming every possible group they can find instead of addressing the real problems.

Sanji isn't retarded at all in the manga imho. The entire Foxy arc had a lot of bad filler from what I've heard others say. Those of us who read the manga tend to like Foxy, while those who watch anime seem to hate him.

Though I just started the Foxy Pirate arc and I'm starting to have second thoughts...

Switch to the manga imho. The anime really goes down hill later on, and some things like the Foxy arc are bloated with filler in the anime. All I can say though is to keep going. You'll learn later on that many of the things you've already seen are far more important to the grand narrative than you thought at the time.

The One Piece manga is easily one of the best comics that's ever been made. The manga is very long, with over 1000 chapters now, but well worth it. The anime adaptation is okay, but gets really bad later on. As for the plethora of movies, they're all over the place, and though it won't have nearly the same impact if you don't know the series, "Strong World" is easily the best movie.

You just don't understand their mentality. They've got their heads so far up their sphincters that they actually believe they are personally responsible for all of human civilization. With such a mindset they actually believe that it's the corrupting influence of games and other media which is responsible for said women selling pictures of their own sphincters for $5.

No man. I'm talking about why such myth exists. I'm convinced that the entire reason the notion of the supernatural exists, such as it does in fantasy fiction, is to talk about real things without actually having to explain them. This is why woke crap is such garbage: because they do actually just pull random bullshit out of their ass.

2
Sumsuch 2 points ago +3 / -1

They didn't just pull the number 7 out of their ass though. I'm talking about why that number shows up all over the place in both modern media and the many historical traditions which venerated it as a holy number. Humans do potentially everything by copying things they've seen elsewhere, including how we build/structure society based upon patterns observed elsewhere.

Which is exactly why I'm pointing people back towards the real world, to help them understand how some of this stuff actually works, instead of jerking each other off every time see a number or symbol they recognize, even if they don't understand what it means.

That's esoteric knowledge though. I'm more interested in the practical aspect beyond that.

The number 7 might be even more significant there. Nothing solid, but I suspect that the system of kings has always been propped up by a specific arrangement of 7 figures/industries/personas/something? Surely enough, the number 7 was quite possibly one of the first "holy" numbers.
