Do you have even the slightest clue of how you actually look in other people's eyes right now?
I feel like we ought to have some sort of system in place where a significant number of scientists can go over previous experiments again and again (based upon what is most important to society currently) both to confirm the initial results, and also to flesh out the findings, perhaps even discovering new nuances which were missed originally. People can complain that such research doesn't directly generate profits, but I would retort that avoiding the collapse of the entire system (which we are currently experiencing) is rather profitable.
First thing that jumps out to me is the phrasing, "women they claimed to have dated," I don't recall seeing similar phrasing when it came to the other site.
Well yea, men are much more open about the potential for dishonesty.
Huh, that's a rather odd subject to have scrubbed from the net. Apparently not even urban dictionary actually knows what the daily dose is.
For anyone unaware, it's a picture of Piccolo and Vegeta fucking which people used to post with messages like "time for your daily dose" in an attempt to build an association between the purple/green colour scheme and gay sex.
Honestly, despite being a huge One Piece fan (or perhaps because of that) I wrote the show off on concept alone. One Piece has far too many outrageous physical effects which are actually important to the story, that can never be captured by live action, such as how character sizes can vary significantly throughout a scene to emphasize that character's impact upon the narrative at the moment. A lot of the physical comedy and timing has already failed to be translated to the anime, so the live action won't do that any better, being another 'animated' format.
All of that said, I'm actually happy that the live action exists. One Piece is as successful as it is largely because the story is not just good, but actually contains some really damn important philosophical concepts. If a certain percentage of live action viewers will find themselves drawn to explore those ideas in more depth, where otherwise they would never engage with such things, that would be great.
Also, apparently the legendary Studio Wit is producing a total remake of the entire anime with a strong commitment to making it top quality. So die hard fans do have something great to look forward to themselves.
Well it couldn't possibly be that the government is expecting all of humanity to completely change their entire way of living overnight. No, we've just got to single out those bad apples causing our perfect plans to fail.
Dude you think peasants in medieval times had it easier than you to have children?
Um, yes? Learn some damn history my guy. For pretty much all of history, having as many babies as absolutely possible was THE primary political strategy in the game of power (Hell, many modern societies are still fully committed to that strategy), and so it was made central to religious practices. The whole of society was focused on creating and supporting the next generation, very much unlike our current society which is focused on delivering fast food and hardcore pornography to drug addicts whoring themselves out online.
Nullius in verba
"Take nobody's word for it" is effectively the pioneering mission statement of science.
What does its motto ‘Nullius in verba’ mean?
The Royal Society's motto 'Nullius in verba' was adopted in its First Charter in 1662. is taken to mean 'take nobody's word for it'. It is an expression of the determination of Fellows to withstand the domination of authority and to verify all statements by an appeal to facts determined by experiment.
Where's the lie?
