I'm just surprised people expected otherwise, most popular youtubers/streamers etc are part of the grift or retarded. Even with fuck you money that does not seem to change.

Elves 1.0

We already got elves in stellaris, came with the base pack. These new abominations look more like a cross breed between avians and insects

Well most commentators seems to at best just be a lighting rod to get the recent most decadency, And they don't most of the time go through this decadency with autistic details, Which means that what you get is the headlines and emotions (Which is not filling enough, if you ask me)

In regards to their lack of use of alt tech. Tbh I do not think most of these people have technical competency to start hosting their own and as you say they are stuck with the addiction or rational that they need to keep building up their brand, which means that they stay on youtube or perhaps if they want the damnned youth they try to branch out to ticktock...

Not sure of the legality but if they moved towards being more of torrent rather than direct download, it would lessen the burden and ensure that it is harder to take down. This will never happen for nexus since that would lose them money and a lot. And the left modders would not like it since then they would lose more control over the distributions of it.

Edit: Example of mod that does it is the STALKER Anomaly mod.

Perhaps you would prefer communication to be done in lingua franca instead?

He asked if the issue were addressed, and I gave a reply to it. Whether that is satisfactory or not were not asked.

It was sold for charity due to miscommunication, It were no use making a proper review of it due to it never being consumer useful...

True forcing it all at once will be hard pressed, but with a good enough excuse they could ease it onto the population similar to value-added tax.

But they keep salivating over the idea of it, and Europe has history of ration of these things during war, they just need a good enough excuse.

Linus sold a backpack where their warranty policy is just trust me bro, rather than to have a more formal statment (since it would be legally binding). Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbjWRvzL-o0&t=4240s

Well, there are probably multiple reasons why the art goes more and more generic, one of them is the idea of trying to emulate the reality rather than the ideal, the other is we know the corpo culture does not incentive risk taking and the globohomo culture ensure that all risk goes in the wrong way.

So once more this idea would only work in a society which is more stable.

There are still pubs were you can rent/borrow gaming systems with games, even Nintendo games other than that, been around for a while. Don't remember it being more DRM than what is usually included in the console/steam.

And if you worry about system being stolen/amount of req drm, hmm perhaps setup the bar were people bring their own consoles/systems and just support with good infrastructure and beer :D

They also had raid groups that used abandoned TF2 chat servers to coordinate attacks

huh, are there any reason why these servers are used instead of setting up something more hardened?

There has been talks in europe of even further than that, To force phones and devices to intercept messages before they are sent and as they are typed.

And yet even in their own reports the islamic is the major threat (although they brush the left under the rug as always) which means they already got too much power to use as wedge issue.

Northern Ireland Related Terrorism (NIRT) remains a serious threat, particularly in Northern Ireland. CONTEST does not address the threat from NIRT in Northern Ireland, which is managed by a separate strategic approach, led by the Northern Ireland Office

Did not even know this was still active.

The increased application of end-to-end encryption and availability of anonymisation tools is expanding the environment in which terrorists can communicate without the risk of detection or identification. As other nations increasingly seek to control the international flow and storage of data, and companies develop their own data policies, it may become more difficult to access the data we need to protect the public

Yes, cannot protect the public unless we see it all...
