Isn't it Gen Z people "hitting their 20's," now? I thought millennial were older?

Agree with what you said, but to be correct, those are F-18s in the movie, not F-16s.

Except for the part where Will Smith makes his way back to his "Navy" base, and you can see an F-16 tail sticking out of the wreckage, with "LF" on it, indicating it is from Luke AFB.

That always bothered me for some reason.

I am really enjoying Konosuba 3. It hit the ground running, right where it left off, and if anything, is more hilarious than the previous seasons!

I also am really enjoying Mushoku Tensei. The animation is fantastic, first and foremost, but the story is what really gets me. Watching Rudeus grow and change and become a real man, etc etc. It's very refreshing to see an anime with adult themes that takes them seriously, but is also very entertaining.

Did not John Candy already prove this to us in the film Stripes, from 40 years ago!?

I agree, the reason I didn't buy it at launch was because of the censorship bait-and-switch. I have plenty of games to play, though, so I don't mind waiting until Stellar Blade is at least half off.

I still want to play it, and I would've payed full price for it as well, but the bait-and-switch really left a sour taste in my mouth.

What is the way of getting around the censorship with a physical copy? Been thinking of picking up a copy once it goes on sale.

This game came out when I was 11 years old, and it scared the bejesus out of me. The setting, the aliens, everything about it gave me the creeps.

Looking back I can say, great atmosphere!

When was the last time we had a foreign movie that spoke entirely in a foreign language?

Godzilla Minus One, which was less than six months ago. It also won an Academy Award for best visual effects...

What is the difference, anyway? Why can I comment here under this account, but it doesn't carry over to there? I don't get it.

I think the first NortherncExposure is very important for how groundbreaking it was at the time, but I think the greatest example is Northern Exposure: Expeditions. I think that's really the peak of the genre in the 90s.

I do! Great game. Sasha did the soundtrack to one of the Wipeout games, if you remember those!

They are still doing Progressive House/Breaks! I try to see them about once a year and party my ass off. They haven't put out an album together since I think Expeditions, but they still play together a few times a year, both own record lables and produce a lot of music, and tour all year solo. Here's Sasha and a different guy, Hernan Cattaneo, in Denver last year, if you're interested in what Prog House sounds like these days:

The article lists "daily active users," so I would say a lot of them are already activated bots, lol. Or Pajeet posting from Hyderabad for 5 cents a post.

To be technically correct, they fudged the subscriber numbers that was shown on the sidebar, and gave a much larger number number to the advertisers. So they wanted denizens of the_Donald to think they were less numerous than they actually were.

I'm starting to get tired of these inane "musings" posts

Just a gut feeling, but it feels like the majority of them are from Lethn.

I have never really cared for her stuff either, frankly.

Okay, that was kind of a fun essay. I have no idea how the title relates to the subject matter, though.

Because they think they are better than us, and smarter than us, and know what is good for us better than we do. This is also why they hate free markets - because markets arrive at "incorrect" decisions all the time.

Im basically paraphrasing Thomas Sowell - The Vision of the Anointed, if you'd like to read more on the subject.
