Oh yeah, she got caught with the Hitman scene crying about how the game encourages you to kill female strippers while the footage shows the player getting penalized for doing that.
And it's not the only example. There's a scene from Deus Ex Human Revolution that she make it seem like you're yelling at a prostitute as you chase her down, when in actuality the footage is the POLICE yelling at YOU because they are trying to arrest YOU for attacking the prostitute. Literally taking an example of the game penalizing you for attacking a female NPC and claiming isn't an example of the game encouraging you to attack female NPCs.
I don't support rape/death threats/ etc. but it wasn't just she had bad opinions, it was that the gaming industry believed her bad opinions and she managed to convince them that if they just made a bunch of stupid changes to their games (that would drive away their existing audience) they could double their profits because durrrrrrr women make up 50% of the population.
Also she took people's money and ran lol
Yeah the Minus One had damn good graphics for its budget. Not perfect, but I saw a trailer for the next Godzilla x Kong movie which has a budget of like $250 million and it looked like retarded shit.
Godzilla Minutes One also managed to make a movie where I was invested in the human characters. Whether it's Transformers, Jurassic World, or Godzilla, Hollywood can't make me give a fuck about their shitty human characters.
It doesn't help that bloated budgets (aka Hollywood addicted to cooking the books) has obliterated the ability for studios to take risks, causing an explosion of sequels and prequels because those are considered safer bets.
With the state set, you get the one-two punch of diversity hires with an agenda who believe you can like their slop if they replace whatever you liked, and the dumb suits who think blindly checking off boxes will maximize profits.
Usually a woman being so physically active would have the good sense to don a sports bra.
However, it seems like these characters are robots (or possibly cyborgs) so no, not even in the context of the game's setting is this meant to be "realistic".
A quick search and it seems to be true. The miscarriage doesn't seem to be intentional, but meth apparently doesn't do well for pregnant women. So even assuming the worst of the woman and she did it intentionally, she got 1,460 days while this dude spiking a woman's drink with abortion medication got 180.
Wait what the fuck? You do know that just because most of Africa doesn't have snow on the ground doesn't mean it has the same weather year round, right? You do know that rainy seasons drastically affect the vegetation? Why do you think African herd animals migrate every year do you think they do it for the exercise.
The whole localization frustrates me.
I do think in some cases there is adhering to the spirit to the meaning rather than a direct translation. Pokemon for example would not have caught on (no pun intended) as much as it has in America if all the original names were kept or directly translated rather than using wordplay that English speakers would understand.
But these people don't even care about the spirit. They just want to low key insert their fanfiction into official material. AI can do a lot of legwork now, but it's still not as good as if a real human did it, but that seems to be a sacrifice that has to be made if the only humans that are doing it are shitty people disrespecting the source material.
He's being given the cream of the crop in terms of cancer treatments, state-of-the-art stuff that no longer relies on chemotherapy. The stuff that cured Jimmy Carter's cancer in like six weeks that normal people can't afford.
He could still die but a royal douche getting cancer is not the same as a normal person getting cancer.
Local multiplayer is also huge for Japan's love of public transportation and most people commuting to work.
