It's great to see r/nfl lose their collective shit over one of the all-time greatest QBs in NFL history question the vax on scientific basis and even mention Ivermectin.

This has more attention than WR Cole Beasley given Aaron Rodgers' stature. Normies spinning overtime in their hamster wheels on this news cycle, trying to rationalize the scamdemic and demonize Rodgers.

Thomas is the only conservative on the bench. Gorsuch is sort of there and Alito very occasionally shows up, but the Court is packed.

I'm sure the very conservative and religious ACB, prime member of the bunch denying exceptions in Maine, will lead the charge.

Trump started Operation Warp Speed and has been pumping up his 'savior' image leading up to the last election and thereafter.

When will you people stop shilling for him?

ZH's Sunday article on this had a good point, emphasis mine:

Launched in 2017, Zillow's iBuying arm uses a wide array of real-estate data with the goal of quickly and efficiently acquiring properties to flip for a profit. The program has vacuumed up properties across the country to flip, only to be met with fierce competition from services such as Redfin, Offerpad and Opendoor. And according to iBuying analyst Mike DelPrete, Zillow's competitors aren't having the same problems - with Opendoor's median home priced $4,400 above what they paid (which, quite frankly, is also pretty terrible).

'Terrible' is probably an understatement.

This is not a free speech site. What 'free speech' site has the rules that this community does?

This isn't a pro-Jew site either, despite some users' affiliations; we voluntarily visit for certain content like the CCP Flu news.

As for how the site behaves, that's likely a larger topic for WIN in general. I highly doubt it's KIA2 specific.

On the topic of Japan becoming fucked, here's another piece of recent news - https://www.sankakucomplex.com/2021/10/15/light-novel-illustrator-mel-kishida-discusses-reducing-fan-service/

“I think focusing on fan service and making it the main aspect [of games and anime] is really starting to change. Not just myself, but the dev team are really feeling that. Compared to the first game, we’re taking a different approach in terms of showing how appealing these characters are without having to rely on fan service. For Blue Reflection and other titles I’ve worked on, I’m seeing a change in how things are being perceived and the attitudes towards them. If you asked me, ‘Well, you’ve drawn a lot of sexy illustrations’ I would have to say that it isn’t because I like or dislike them, it’s that I’m creating things that fans and consumers enjoy looking at.”

Very few, if any, here will care about a niche game like Blue Reflection but it's the attitude shift that we've seen slowly but surely creep into gaming.

Again, idiots won't call this censorship because the developers decided to avoid the hassle altogether because to them, censorship is only changing a delivered product.

Any reason why you wouldn't want to?

Not interested in continuing to play games, it's condescending. It's a Fortune 500 company - a massive one, you guys would give me a lot of shit if I mentioned the name - and I kept my mouth shut when they sprung a diversity lecture on us in the past.

Plus, I'm looking to move closer to family, unfortunately in yet another super liberal state...

But I don't do threats, so I'll keep my options / mind open. I do like the idea of throwing my hat into any permitted class action lawsuit based on principle (payout would be zilch), which would be more likely with religious exemption, but there are already enough reasons to leave so IDK.

No surprise, OSHA already showed their true, bureaucratic face earlier in the year when they opted to allow employers forego recording vaccine related injuries for at least 1 year.

I'll probably not seek a religious exception if they are successful and it's not stayed by lawsuits. Not sure if they require regular testing as an alternative, but leaning heavily towards "no".

It's because they're racists and don't believe in "reverse racism".

They also think it's racist when a white man says he's not interested in back women, transphobic when a cis gender says he/she is not interested in transgenders, etc.

This is a few days old, but I didn't see it being posted here. Basically, NY is showing the expected results of those saying to call its bluff w.r.t the vax mandate despite the strong facade from governor Cunt Kathy Hochul. Lot of hoopla for a mere '3%' of (supposed) loss of workforce that the mandate claimed; real numbers TBD.

None for mainstream news, but I do like the comments on ZeroHedge depending on topic. I've gleaned very useful facts from there especially w.r.t the Wuhan Flu.

Or their shitty coding standards, like hardcoding server credentials (and uploading them to their git

How is this even possible? Any large IT company has static analyzers, automated security vulnerability assessments, code submission/deployment reviewal processes, and all types of business minutia. I honestly don't know how any developer or team could fuck up this badly.

As for the code leak, that is incredibly impressive of Amazon, but unless there is a lot of scintillating unique IP baked into it - maybe things like video quality adjustments assuming they aren't the usual legal scams - then I don't think it will matter much in the long run.

The factors that made Twitch successful have always been challengeable. Google's a great example of this given their early acquisition of YouTube. Different priorities, or competencies when it comes to execution, have led to the status quo; either can be overturned, but it doesn't require the data breach.

We know how useless the vaccines are, I wonder if there has been any study of how large - or, as we expect, little - the reinfection rate is for those who never took the vaccine.

For example, is there any reason to believe the Wuhan Flu's natural immunity won't mirror the 18 years (and ongoing) of those who were infected with SARS?

Well, he was pretty funny when the gimmick was new and everyone was blind to the progressive agenda (for comparison, fast forward to later years when he was shilling for his sister's congressional run on said show).

However much CC paid their writers, it probably wasn't enough. Jon Stewart & co. were very effective propagandists, this shit show of a 'comedy' sketch doesn't even enter the same stratosphere.

Scarlet Nexus and Tales of Arise do seem unimpressive from promo materials alone.

I'm fine with skepticism, but IMO there is reason to be wary about Bamco. This may have legs.

Psychedelics shouldn't be illegal in the 1st place. Bring on the aliens.

I was genuinely disappointed by the lack of outrage at this decision.

I wasn't even aware that they hadn't done this already. Didn't they ban videos like the famous DarkHorse podcast episode before? They're just making their enforcement official policy and with harder penalties.

That assumes there is a good leader in the first place.

Fuck this guy:

Kono advocates for more immigration, having criticized the government's resistance to opening the door to immigrants in order to mitigate Japan's labor shortage as a result of its aging and shrinking population.[3][37]

This one seems pretty dodgy too:

Kishida reiterated his pledge to craft an economic package worth "tens of trillions of yen," or hundreds of billion dollars, to support the pandemic-hit economy by the end of the year.

...but I guess better than Kono. (As if I know what the hell I'm talking about and didn't just spend about 5 minutes "researching".)

Reminds me of this thread, any relation? - https://kotakuinaction2.win/p/12hRLgSaDW/list-of-movies-recommended-in-th/

I recommended Pan's Labyrinth there, it's listed as 5.25 wokeness. TBQH it's been way too long to remember many details (over a decade), but I don't think the nature of the plot lent much possibility to such.

Maybe I'll re-watch it one day and compare notes as a litmus test; I was young and stupid back then too, so I would have missed a lot of what's obvious now.

I don't know if this is my original source since it has been several years, but this is where 1 of the original participants admits it involved acting/embellishment - https://archive.vn/TlV5c

Other citations or references beside the NY Post exist if you just search for the experiment along with the word fake. There has been dispute about its authenticity even before this, considering the linked article is relatively modern (2018).

See how much you want to lend credence to it; for me, it does overly smell of pseudo-intellectual academic bullshit so I'll side with the "fake".

if the Stanford Prison Experiment is any indicator

I think they eventually admitted and pointed out that study was all bullshit.

Not relevant to the original point, there's already camps for the unvaxxed in numerous countries. Washington state next? Entirely believable. If true I imagine it'll start off as something for travelers and, well, we'll learn how it's used long-term.

Eh, let's call their bluff and see how it works long-term.

I looked online and the mods for HZD suck. This is the best apparently - https://www.nexusmods.com/horizonzerodawn/mods/32?tab=images

Don't see the point in anyone ever installing this; maybe if 2B or other model replacement mod came out, one could tolerate the woke crap.
