Paranoia can do weird things to your mind and make you miss obvious signs of things being fake.

An email like this, even though it is fake, can still confirm suspicions that someone is out to get you.

Combine that with fear mongering about the virus, and a lack of trust in the government and media on the transparency of their methodology, and it is easy for even the most intelligent of individuals to fall for something like this.

Confirmation bias can affect everyone

I had a feeling, but I had no time to look into it this morning so I took it with a massive grain of salt.

It came off as too fanfiction-y and made Trudeau sound less incompetent than he is.

It’s a sign of the times that something like this can be passed as true.

Big if true, but are Canadians cucked enough to actually follow orders.

Has Canada reached the point where if the government says jump, the majority will plummet to their demise

Edit: Reading other comments on the thread, and looking into it more it most definitely is not true, but the question still stands.

If the Canadian government was to attempt a massive federal level suppression of basic rights for the “well-being” of the country would people follow along?

How is that gun-grab going up there?

I enjoyed the game when it came out, and then saw who it was attracting and jumped ship, never to look back.

“Will a social credit score become the ‘new normal’ after all of the dissidents are killed off or in hiding? Nobody says anything because they are afraid.”

The current left views itself as the arbiter of truth and good, while the right does not.

The left sees populism and civic nationalism coming from the right and assumes fascism, because it goes against global interests.

A strong national identity draws people together, when the left wants to drag people apart. If everyone sees each other as equals, then the oppression stack falls apart. In order to protect it, they must conflate their opposition with the worst thing they can think of, Nazis.

They think they are fighting the next Hitler, they will never accept otherwise. They will blame his victory on white supremacy and continue their grift.

Definitely agree with you there.

I like it because it is repetitive and mind-numbing, it’s exactly what I need in a game right now.

It isn’t for everyone, and it is stupid easy, but when I am stuck coding all day, it’s nice to just be able to click a couple of buttons and drag a mouse and not have to think too hard

Then why even bother with the comparison. Obama helped open us up to the social justice nonsense we are dealing with now.

Obama helped instigate further riots with his open condemnation of “systematic racism”

Obama’s time in the White House emboldened the left and got us to the point we are currently at.

I won’t say I hate the man, but there were plenty of legitimate criticisms that the media never discussed.

If Obama was to shit himself on stage, the journalists would have went to eat it out of his pants and lick his asshole clean.

A couple people calling “O ‘bomb a’ -nother hospital” mean names, is a whole lot different than a vast majority of institutions and all of the the mainstream media circle jerking about how bad Orange Man is and calling for the destruction of the US.

I can’t take Vaush seriously.

Not only is he a massive idiot that believes Socialism works, but he has made multiple comments supporting lowering the age of consent.

He also has had his nudes leaked.

I am playing Carrion right now.

It is pretty good so far and I’m enjoying it.

It’s simple enough that I can just pick it up and make a decent amount of progress without taking away too much time from school and other projects.

I haven’t had time to play anything in a while, so it’s nice to be able to play something again.

I think Trump wins the actual election, but Biden is cheated in by late ballots.

The legitimacy of the election will go to the courts.

No matter who wins after the court decision the left will be emboldened and will start pushing harder. If you think the last 145 days have been bad, just wait.

I do agree that the DNC will turn on Biden and the media will follow, but there is no way they would even risk digging into Burisma. The possibility that Obama knew is too great, and I don’t think they are ready to even come close to implicating him into a scandal that big.

Biden will just be removed by being declared mentally unfit for office putting Harris up as President.

An unelected President that doesn’t have much approval by the population and is likely to abuse EO will have trouble getting support and might not last long. Depending on how much of the House turns Red and overall approval among the remaining Dems, impeachment isn’t off the table.

The term that originated in Mexico is racist.

If calling out human trafficking makes me racist I am gladly racist

At first I was willing to assume stupidity, but this seems like a way to dismiss any crimes happening on the border.

It’s a way to try to legitimize the 11 million people Biden claimed he was going to grant amnesty to.

Trump was muted a couple of times, but it was pretty close to fair.

Biden got softballed, while Trump got some loaded ones.

Trump got Biden flustered without being to "Trumpish" about it. Trump hammering down the why didn't you do anything for 8 years question was nice.

Biden had some good points, but he flip-flopped a lot.

The oil and gas talk was definitely Biden's worst bit and probably cost him votes.

Trump's "I'm the least racist person in the room" was extremely weak pandering.

Trump also came off as a little too friendly to North Korea, mainly because of his wording, but Biden sounded like he wanted nuclear war.

You worded it exactly how I view it.

The left no longer cares about discussion, because a decent chunk of what they base their current moral framework does not hold up.

Ideas need minds to seed and grow, but whenever they are based on easily falsifiable conclusions, questioning the ideas kill them off.

The pseudo-religious dogma coming from the left needs to be protected from criticism, or it will fall apart and all of their power will die off. Shouting down is the only way they can protect them.

I thought suggesting that it was going to be endemic was a "conspiracy theory" pushed by anti-lockdown trolls.

Yeah I have definitely noticed that with my extremely limited interactions with them.

"The Holodomor didn't happen, but even if it did the Kulaks deserved it" is a very common phrase,

They'll deny every single genocide that occurred under communist rule, and call them all CIA/Fascist propaganda.

It could just be a coincidence, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Biden campaign team has people who would gladly suck off Mao's (Ze)dong.

Biden and Harris seem to think China isn't a threat, and socialism/communism is becoming popular with "my" age demo.

I do think it is vague enough that most people who aren't into history that doesn't really get taught in US public schooling would even recognize it. Hell, I've done my fair share of research and reading about the subject and didn't even see a connection.

The party behind the current struggle sessions liking the Great Leap Forward would be fitting though.

Not fully protest related, but my college (not posting the name) has been forced to apologize and is potentially facing a lawsuit due to complaints about campus police.

They are claiming that a legitimate traffic stop was racist, because the officer did a standard search for drugs.

They did an announcement concerning it and are apparently looking to do “racial sensitivity training” for officers and faculty.

The campus subreddit is having a freak out
