Growing up: Oh, we want a mature beat-em-up with cartoonish levels of gore and ultra-violence. Right.

Lore revision: Can't have any stronk wahmen ever show weakness or be perceived as less than a man in any capacity; re-write that shit so her motivations no longer make sense or have the same impact.

Don't give these assholes that hate you and your hobby any money, ever. If they aren't making games or adding elements "because it's fun", then it's not worth your time. Rule of Cool is the only creative law a spectacle fighter should follow.
