It's quite insane, isn't it? Taking to twitter, facebook and what have you is akin to getting on a soapbox in a public square in bright daylight.
Either these people don't grasp that, or they do and are completely comfortable spewing this hate anyway. I both, fear and hope, it's the latter. Fear, because this means there's large bubbles where this is completely OK to say. Hope because, just like in a public square you don't get to choose who listens and this way their insanity and complete lack of compassion is exposed to a lot of people who would be indifferent otherwise.
You missed the third option, quite common with these types: intentionally post a provocative message in order to generate backlash (or pretend that you got "anonymous death threats" if such backlash doesn't materialize). Then they use the exposure to build their reputation and advance their career.
'Nathan Jun', 'Jun' is a Korean or Chinese name. Otherwise he's a philosophy profressor and writes books about why anarchy and rioting are good. So he's a yellow Jew.
