People get so wrapped up about how "this movie is just like that other movie," and I say big whoop.

I liked whiplash. I'd love to see another movie that tells a similar story.

It's the same when Opus came out and people said "it's just Midsommar/The Menu." Great! I love a murder cult movie. Let's do that again.
