I despise Israel, Iran, Hamas, and the entire Middle East. All of these people are grifters whose interests have absolutely zero connection to the good of the American people.

I sometimes wish the Iranians and Israelis really would wipe each other off the map so I no longer need to hear about their collective stupidity. They will never do so, however. It is too profitable to keep the circus going

If Israel really thought Hamas was an existential threat to their existence, they would simply exterminate the Palestinians, world opinion be damned.

Same with Iran. If Iran getting a nuclear weapon meant the end of the Jewish people then the Israelis would have already incinerated Tehran.

The Israelis do not believe this, however. Deep down, they know the truth. Iran getting a nuclear weapon would mean... absolutely nothing. It would freeze the geopolitical situation and put an end to the reciprocal missile strikes, assassinations, and sniping.

Israel and Iran, locked in a framework of mutually assured destruction, would act the way the Indians and Pakistanis do--hosting gay dance offs in lieu of fighting and the (now much rarer) completely meaningless aircraft shoot down.

But there is no money in this model! How can Israel fleece the American taxpayer out of tens of billions of dollars in military aid against the "existential threat of Islamic terrorism" if there is peace?

In order to rip off evangelical Boomers, you need to keep the possibility of "End Times" violence on the table. "Oh no," Cheryl the 79 year-old Boomer says from the deck of her 27th cruise, "Israel is under ATTACK. The Book of Revelation could be FULFILLED unless we call our Senator to give money to God's Chosen People TODAY!!!!!!!"

The Israelis know this is all theater, of course. Hamas is made up of a bunch of retarded savages. They could not conquer Israel even if they wanted to.

And they don't really want to! They are in on their own grift (also paid for by the Americans.)

The Qatari oil sheikh, the 93 IQ son of illiterate pearl divers, is deeply moved by this appeal and drops a loot crate of $1 million worth of AK-47s, paragliders, and head bands on these savages to wage "jihad."

In reality, the American taxpayer is footing the bill for all this. Without the American shield of protection over the Gulf States and the petrodollar agreements these "countries" would not exist and these oil "titans" would still be roaming around on camels in the desert.

All of these people are clowns. They are all fundamentally unserious and unhinged.

Without October 7, Nethanyahu would not be in office right now. The Israeli right and left were at each others' throats right up until the attack. In a way, Hamas is a convenient foil for the Israeli government! Nothing distracts from domestic problems like foreign threats, real or imagined!

Hamas likewise needs Israel so they can grift off the Qataris and the Iranians, neither of whom actually want to live around the Palestinians. Keeping them hostage is much more convenient!

American political leaders, by contrast, love this dynamic because they can use it to grift off defense contracts, to justify "fact finding missions" (vacation) to Israel, and to delude themselves into thinking they are the second coming of Klemens von Metternich.

Activists and members of the Arabic diaspora likewise can feel important ("we are fighting against GENOCIDE, okay!!") while portraying themselves as heroic moral crusaders. "We are standing up for victims of imperialism, colonialism, and aggression! That is why I just glued myself to this priceless work of art."

Journalists love the Content. Fox News right now is running HEADLINES about WAR. This was supposed to be a slow news Friday but now Mark Levin is live on air about to spontaneously orgasm at the thought of righteous slaughter. Producers now have a justification for their paychecks (whew!), talking heads feel important, and audience members with boring lives can para-socially partake in The Action.

In reality, everything is fake and gay. Everyone involved in the interminable Middle Eastern soap opera is retarded, selfish, and vicious.

This doesn't mean really bad things couldn't happen. Maybe Iran and Israel really will fight a real war where lots and lots of people die. But it will be nihilistic blood-letting. Nothing will be solved. At the end, ordinary people will not be better off. The only "winners" will be some faction of disgusting grifters.

I don't care about any of these people. I don't care about their problems. I do not want to be made to care.

The freedom to not care is the most important freedom of all. Neutrality is beautiful!

I partly disagree with this. Even if a stalemate is made, there can still be an arms race of sorts. The US and China are not officially at war presently (Russia v. Ukraine support aside), but they're still trying to assert dominance.
Weapons research (and perhaps development) won't just stop. People won't magically stop hating their foreign adversaries. Radicalization and recruitment can still happen.
I venture that the Israeli grift will continue so long as they pretend to promote "American" or "democratic" "values."

Well, time to follow this guy. I wish I could slide him a beer and tell him I agree on everything.

A concise summary of my shared feelings.

Idk man, he seems to put things in a way like Iran is also an aggressor, when the truth is, their actions haven’t been anything other than defensive in decades, once in awhile striking back as a reaction to Israel striking them and their neighbors. Almost the entirety of the Middle East region has been re-engineered by Israeli fuckery with the help of U.S. foreign policy, overthrowing numerous governments and installing new puppet regimes in their place, leaving only one nation left (Iran) that still kind of operates on their own terms, and that pisses the Israelis off big time. Iran stands in the way of the Oded Yinon Plan and “the greater Israel Project”, but thanks to Israel’s influence over Congress, we will probably be forced to waste another trillion+ dollars and maybe even millions of American lives trying to remove yet another problem for the Israelis, because they’re too weak to do so on their own.
