Crossdresser: a man wearing a dress but he still knows he's a man
Tranny: a man wearing a dress who thinks he's a woman
The identity of "transgenders" is so fragile and non existant , of course they think that if a man wears a dress or wears feminine things that automatically makes him tranny. Because in reality trannies are nothing more than men wearing dresses and the trannies know it deep inside.
Its the reason they are so offended by the term "trap" even though it refers to men who look feminine and never referred to trannies. They still think "trap" is transphobic. They still think it refers to trannies because deep inside they know that all they are is a man that wears a dress and nothing more. . .
In the past this was differentiated by transvestite (wearing the other sex's clothes) and transsexual (wanting to become the other sex). Modern gender politics have found both of those to be "problematic" and replaced both of them with transgender.
Yeah, I don't really mind the transvestites if they know they are men and don't try to make other people say otherwise, unless they are applying for a job in sales or childcare, I care not and even then might be able to be persuaded otherwise.
Men wore dresses in medieval times because pants are harder to make than a simple dress, goes for both cloth and armor. The Greeks thought pants effeminate for some reason (My best guess is that since Ancient Greece was a warm pre-AC environment, it stemmed from probably making your balls sweatier), and it was a minor scandal that Alexander started wearing them.
Well exactly! And Japanese culture (or at least manga and anime) know there's a BIG difference between the two.
Didn't any of these people see the "Ed Wood" movie? You'd think they' be all over it, given his penchant for crossdressing. Probably taboo because he was still het.
