1. They fit into our culture better than most other potential immigrants would.

2. They would be a likely economic net positive.

3. They’re facing genuine persecution, and there are few other countries that will accept them where they might be a better cultural fit.

Those points—which I think should specifically go in that order—are all points on which the various African and Middle Eastern “refugees” fail.
