Trump essentially owns the Republican party now. Mitch the Turtleneck now runs the risk of becoming the next Mccain if he votes no on ANY of these confirmations. And thanks to how popular Trump is and wrecking all their federal slush funds, they know he has their political careers in his hand.
On the other side, the Dems have lost the plot, 'Bernie bros' have mostly switched to Trump after seeing how much of a big pharma shill he is and seeing the 'populist Democrats' defend the deep state against Tulsi and Kash has irreversibly damaged their reputations. Making RFK Jr, Kash and Tulsi go through confirmation process was genius by Trump as it made the Dems lose their last non retard support and he can have them in unelected positions anyway.
The political pressure on these rats must be insane. This ain't no kabuki theater anymore.
Big ups to Nicole Shanahan for flexing on that moron who was going to vote against RFK Jr. If some chick is going to take a billion dollars in a divorce, might as well use it for a good purpose.
On February 13, 2021, Collins was one of the seven Republican senators who voted to convict Trump in his second impeachment trial. On May 27, 2021, along with five other Republicans and all present Democrats, she voted to establish a bipartisan commission to investigate the Capitol attack. She had amended the bill in the hopes of drawing sufficient Republicans to support it, but the vote failed for lack of 60 required "yes" votes to prevent a filibuster.
From wiki.
I wish the phone call from Trump to her was recorded.
Hell, he told Massie "I will destroy you, I will come at you like never before" and all he did was tweet that Massie was an asshole. I can't imagine the contempt he has for a Republican that voted to impeach him for J6
I'm just worried because Democrat plant Cassidy is still "undecided" about him. If he teams up with Collins and Murkowski to sink him we're down to Vance's tie breaking vote. McConnell being a spiteful piece of shit isn't out of the question either. He already tried to sink Pete Hegseth, and while I get that people here aren't exactly crazy about Hegseth we all know that McConnell is just out to fuck Trump.

He just came out in favor of RFK Jr.
(He is up for re-election next year. He should still be voted out because he voted for the Trump impeachment.)

The betting markets have the odds of McConnell voting for Tulsi and RFK Jr. as < 20%. But with the support they have now, both have overall confirmation odds of 95%+.
While I don't dispute your characterization, she's probably the best that Maine can do. What bothers me is that a state like Alaska sends an ultra-cockroach like Murkowski to the senate.
The other Senator is a Center-Left independent, and there's still a strong push to put a more MAGA aligned Republican in the seat. So, I think she saw the writing on the wall.

For the Bernie Bros, I doubt they've "switched' as much as become demotivated.
Truly, I think the populist Left is probably the biggest losers of everything so far. They might have no choice but to come on board the trump train.
Imagine Jimmy Dore interviewing Donald Trump.

Until a week ago, I would have said that Trump is all talk, no action.
This is probably still true of the "come at you" stuff. He supported basically every anti-Trump RINO who had a good chance, like Romney and Ben Sasse.
Cassidy says that he received assurances from Trump in exchange for his vote.
I don't know what that means
I wonder if they're feeling pressure now to actually get some honest people in these positions to stop Trump.
Before they were against them to protect their illegal programs, now they're like 'oh shit I'd rather have a trial than a firing squad'.
I'm more interested in the situation with RFK Jr. Any word on that?
Tulsi was considered the most endangered out of her, RFK Jr, and Kash, so I assume he's sitting pretty right now.

I'm more surprised that Maine has a Republican senior Senator.
It's Susan Collins, a RINO cockroach dating back to the Jurassic

President Trump has done the impossible. Absolutely incredible.
Susan Collins is from Maine so I think there's a pretty tough situation for her. Maine is actually badly Left from the coast and urban areas; but a lot of the rural areas are very Right. Colors are flipped in this map to match the political Left with Red as traditional

I'm glad she's voting for Tulsi, but there's no reason why Hegseth should have been a no.
