how is it possible that you are conflating "going outside" with "bringing your child into a potentially dangerous situation"?
If he was just a passerby and wasn't actually an attendee your point is a bit more valid and even then he should have some situational awareness.
If he intentionally brought his toddler to a political rally where she would have no idea what is going on and wouldn't remember it then he used poor judgement.
First why did the father bring his daughter to an event that can potentially go bad.
Second why didn't he slap that woman hard enough to make her regret her actions?
Because if we don't have a right to go outside we've already lost. Stop blaming people for existing.
