Unpopular opinion, but the right needs to start flooding these applications with their own people to recapture these organizations and bring them to sanity.
Search those gov jobs. Get in and try to get other like minded folks in
They either won't hire you or fire you asap once you have the wrong politics. These insane dei people are the ones whose changed new hire policies to be exploitative contracts or other ladder pulling schemes.
You have to keep that under wraps. The right has not been smart about that at all. Look for small ways to move the needle rather than trying to eat the whole salami at once.

yeah "The long march through the institutions" took decades and was highly targeted. It took taking over higher education, and specific disciplines that turned out activists in HR positions. It can't be reversed by "just applying for their jobs" because you'll be rejected.
