When visiting a great-uncle and aunt's horse farm that they had on mostly-wooded 100 acres (yep), we were kept away from the "crick" by being told there was "quicksand" there. Dunno about that, but there WAS some sucking mud that nearly stole a cousin's shoe when we realized we'd gotten too close to said "crick". Oh, the panic, lol.
That waterfall scene in Christopher Robin really did hit home, ha. That dangerous "crick" was probably no deeper and wider than that.
I'm sure there are a ton of old racist adages that have been buried and lost since the invention of the term "racism" by the marxist Jews only a mere century ago.
This show was already crazy woke! Like in the first season that bearded psych doctor there, already has like 99 adopted kids of course supremely diverse and gay, and he's gay. The black heart surgeon, has like a stable of 3 black female heart surgeons as his team. So many episodes about trans kids, trans rights. I thought it was the wokest shit on TV and that was .. 3 years ago?
This is hilarious. Even if it turns out to be a parody episode, it's really not that different from the normal show.
Occasionally my wife and I will watch a few minutes of these shows to laugh at all this egregious shit but this is by far the best one yet. I gotta check this show out lol
I broke that rule for John Wick 4. It was absolute trash.
I'm actually considering breaking it for Deadpool and Wolverine and I'm sure it will be trash, but I liked the trailer, and it's the only trailer I've seen because I don't like to see too much about movies I might watch, but that trailer with the Madonna like a prayer song, I thought made the movie look good. And I'm not even a deadpool or superhero fan.
But odds are it's very woke and I'll regret my decision if I do see it.
I watch Bluebloods and Yellowstone but that’s about it. Was watching Dobie Gillis the other night. If Deadpool and Wolverine mocks Disney marvel it will be a hit
I agree that I hate that element. That's been there from the first movie and was even more overt in the second. I have no doubt they're going to go even further with him being gay for wolverine. They flat-out say that "Deadpool is pansexual".
While I didn't like the second deadpool, I thought the first was decent besides that stuff.
More what I'm intrigued about with this movie is I hated Logan and it being a depressing demoralizing gritty take on Wolverine, and I like that this looks to be a cool redemption story for an alternate wolverine. The concept of a wolverine who is a failure in his universe, but gets a second chance at redemption is really cool to me. That's the part that's drawing me to it. And Ryan Reynolds is funny, but not when it's the gayness crap. Him in the movie Waiting or Van Wilder, for instance, he's a very funny guy.
Yeah even Scrubs which I love, which was early 2000s, Carla talks about how she knows more than the doctors but has to pretend and then fix their mistakes later.
Yeah, no that part was fine and realistic, when she's fixing the noobies' mistakes, but there's a later episode, like season 2 maybe where she implies she's more knowledgeable than most of the doctors. I could be wrong.
Generally though Scrubs isn't very ideological, so even at its potential worst it's not bad at all.
To some degree she might be. Most MD specialise so will know everything about their chosen field but it will be the nurses who see how those fields interact with both other fields as well as everything else. I'm not saying she's qualified to be doing the specialist procedures but she will have probably seen far more shit go down because she was the one doing night shifts every day for weeks when the patients were begging for death, or bleeding out of places thought to be impossible.
The nurses all seem to think they know it all. And Carla was especially "confident." I don't work in a hospital but I always equated it to nurses were the NCOs and the doctors were officers.
Yeah, Carla did imply that she knows more than the doctors... but then later on some real shit goes down and she gets put in her place. That stuff was handled pretty well on Scrubs.
Why is Libsoftiktok posting tv clips from 4 years ago lately? Just last week (edit: 2 weeks ago) she put up that clip of Chelsea Handler that was also shared here.
It's not like there's an absence of news or current content in the same vein.
From badass Martha on Doctor Who to… (a doctor on) This.
Just… Wow. The face says it all, really.
I must admit to watching a few minutes of this show, once. I do love how they took Martha’s character (also a medical doctor) and essentially said, “What if we made her incompetent, slutty, and a lesbian?”, lol…
It might not give you cancer, but expect more people to die.
TV used to at least occasionally teach you useful things, like your numbers and letters, or how to do an emergency tracheotomy ...
You want to die, or do you want me to stab you in the throat with this empty Bic pen?
My generation knows precisely how to deal with quicksand.
Gen X here, too.

That's why you gotta let the racism out. It's healthier that way.
"A racism a day keeps the doctor away"
Doctor's orders: " If you see black, go on the attack"
"A black you shall beat, for your health to treat, and remember to repeat, for cancer's defeat"
It just seems incredibly funny to me that if this was true we would have highly racist saying to keep the population healthy

Thank you for reminding me why I have a general rule of thumb not to watch anything made after 2014. I’m sure the writing room is a hive mind
Same.

Deadpool 3 is mostly gaytent, I cant stand ryan reynolds thinking being a faggot is funny. It's just disturbing.
I agree that I hate that element. That's been there from the first movie and was even more overt in the second. I have no doubt they're going to go even further with him being gay for wolverine. They flat-out say that "Deadpool is pansexual".

Every preview so far has leaned into the gaytent so I have very low expectations.
Yeah even Scrubs which I love, which was early 2000s, Carla talks about how she knows more than the doctors but has to pretend and then fix their mistakes later.
Yeah, ok.
To be fair she works at a teaching hospital with young and inexperienced doctors.
Yeah, no that part was fine and realistic, when she's fixing the noobies' mistakes, but there's a later episode, like season 2 maybe where she implies she's more knowledgeable than most of the doctors. I could be wrong.

That explains why woketards are such a cancer on society.
New Amsterdam was once old New York, why they changed it? I can't say. Guess they liked it better that way
Yes, the song it is old new york was once new amsterdam. I flipped it for the joke.
Can we throw this in the bin with the other propaganda about what makes cancer (besides the clot shot)?
Christ, and I thought House had some pretty retarded episodes....
Also had some great ones they could no longer make today. Crazy how times have changed...
That testosterone immunity episode probably more than any other.
Me: Surely it's just implied that racism caused it.
plays clip
Clip: "I think your son's tumor was caused by racism"
My sides, they are in orbit.
This is hillarious. Anything but mRNA injections causes cancer. Please tell me this is a parody of Naturopathy.
Might as well argue you're fat because of Cosmic Fat Osmosis and eat almost nothing.

rofl, race-baiting agitprop meant as prep-work for the next 'Summer Of Love'.
How Freema Ageyman’s career has fallen…
From badass Martha on Doctor Who to… (a doctor on) This.

I must admit to watching a few minutes of this show, once. I do love how they took Martha’s character (also a medical doctor) and essentially said, “What if we made her incompetent, slutty, and a lesbian?”, lol…
Also love how the guy, after he says the line, looks over to what is probably the production team like, “Did I do it? Did I say it right??”
Ah, what a lol…
