Deep Rock Galactic is a very similar type of game, and hasn't gone woke for the years it's been out. Smaller studios are less likely to get infected with the globohomo virus. The people working at Arrowhead (the studio that made Helldivers 2) have also shown to be relatively competent, which means they value merit over DEI, and the CEO has shown he's willing to openly push back and mock stupidity. On the other hand, the opening cut scene shows a mixed race couple, but then again, it shows the non-whites being ruthlessly butchered by a bug. Another positive is that the fanbase seems wholly disdainful of any attempts by Reddit tier lefties to try to shame "fascism" in the game, and every post they make on the subject has been ruthlessly mocked by the player base, even on the Helldiver Reddit forum (weirdly enough). So, I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Difference being that Helldivers is published by Sony and was chosen to be in their special showcase, whereas DRG was and still is a small game under the notice of most anyone.
I won't say that guarantees anything about the game going woke, as it seems to be actively resisting currently (minus making the first 2 seconds of the game show you a mixed race couple in a propaganda video), but it has Soyny actively in its walls.
In Deep Rock Galactic, I encountered one, and only one retard whining ''how do I pick a female character'' ''you can't?!? they should fix that problem!''.
The only acceptable response is ''you're already playing a femal dwarf, don't let the beard fool you''.
I believe the voice line was only removed for the DRG-licensed auto-shooter survivor game, which is being developed by a completely different studio than DRG proper. Funday Games makes the survivor game while Ghost Ship Games makes the coop mining game.
That line still exists in the original game, as far as I'm aware.
Given this game is set up to be a perpetual service, I predict it will turn Uber woke in under a year.

Didn't news just come out that Sony has laid off a lot of people?

"Nevermind the beard, the easiest way to tell is that you're acting like a massive bitch right now"
May want to keep an eye on it, looks like they recently removed a voice line to not hurt people's feelings. "Die like your mother did."

I find the Starship Trooperesque propaganda themes of the game to be pretty hilarious. /shrug
