They won't get the numbers in the Senate. Impeaching Biden is political theater for a GOP with little else to run on, but neocon trash like this won't criticize it from that angle.
I'm ambivalent about it. Impeaching someone has rarely worked out well for the folks doing the impeaching (including for Trump), but then again, these previous impeachments were largely nonsensical.
At the very least, if there is an impeachment, the evidence for Biden's corruption will get a hearing.
Though I'm pretty sure they will crow victory when Romney and the rest of the neocon scum votes to acquit him and he gets off 66-34 or something.
What a real opposition party would be doing is presenting an alternative to the immigration chaos. Instead, GOPs operatives have psyop'd much of their own base into cheering on mass immigration to trigger the libtards.
The thing is, the "base" as seen in places like T_D want the impeachment - even if it's just theater - and have been demanding it for years. They also want the border controlled but the former is easier and meaningless so that's what will get done.
Would such "red meat" be a bad thing? Republicans/ Conservatives should take whatever wins they can, and a morale boost is always beneficial. How much of a distraction from other problems would this really be?
I'm unfondly reminded of Lefties accusing everyone who points out their smaller behaviors as annoying as being obsessed with those very small issues and problems, like we can't multi-task or dislike multiple things at once.
There is nothing wrong with Red Meat if there is substance to it. Impeachment with no chance of success isn't that. It's the "Repeal Obamacare" saga all over again. I guess you could call it "Impossible Red Meat."
Well, even scum like Dan Crenshaw does plenty of posturing regarding immigration.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not arguing they're an actual opposition party. Only that there are scenarios in which an impeachment, even if it's just theater, would redound to the benefit of DJT.
The GOP's track record on immigration is too terrible to take posturing from Cringeshaw seriously. They need a robust push which they won't do because they have no intention on living up to it.
I think it’s just the marginally MAGA house telling the thoroughly RINO senate to go fuck themselves ahead of any attempts by McConnell to “reach across the aisle”. The republican senate is honestly the biggest problem we’ve had for decades. They are comically far removed from the needs and wants of their base.
I'm not sure I have her the right way around in the older case. It seems like what she was saying in a roundabout way is that the items Trump was impeached over aren't crimes.
Case for impeachment against Trump: There isn't any, you already tried twice and you fell through each time
Case for impeachment against Biden: His entire career.
Same as it's always been: "Orange man bad"
My 1 year old niece makes a more coherent argument than any of these TDS sufferers and she can't talk!
Though neither can the president come to think of it but my point stands!
Edit: corrected my mistake wise guys.
A stunning and brave 1-year-old nephew?
Nah she plays like a girl, raised by a tomboy mother who hates woke shit and will probably grow up to be a tomboy that knows it's all bs
I couldn't love her more lol
The correct word is niece. Nephew is for boys
Yeah that’s what they said about Star Wars too, and how did that turn out?
So... You meant niece
Democrats impeached Trump for what Biden did.
Republicans impeaching Biden for what Biden did.
...so really it's just more of the same.

Hence why I called Eyepatch McCain's screeching posturing.
The House can do stuff if they vote to, but them impeaching doesn't guarantee a trial in the Senate.

Without the Republican Senate, Merrick Garland would be on the Supreme Court and not Gorsuch - as bad as he is.
JUST IN: I got my marching orders from my masters on what to tell my gullible audience to believe.
