YouTuber Pegasus rips apart a food study that was funded by the big name American junk food and cereal corporations. Remember, Reeses Puffs and M and Ms are good, eggs and milk are bad. "Science" says so.
The Science checks out in this case. Reese's Puffs are fantastic.
One point of correction on this video - eggs are super healthy and nutritious unless they're fried or hard boiled. Explanation.
Brawndo's got what plants crave. It's got electrolytes.
Idiocracy was a documentary sent back from the future.
I've lost like 40 pounds with fasting and low carb. Lost fat; gained muscle, but despite that I will not tell people how I did it unless I trust them to not be fucking idiots because "fasing? but muh starvation mode" is repeated in the exact same way as "water? like from a toilet?"
I mean... it is. It was conceptualized specifically to preserve food supplies in times of famine. However, it worked so well it turned out to be incredibly beneficial under the right conditions. There's no shame in admitting what something really is. That doesn't make it inherently a bad thing. It takes a mentaley strong person to commit to it properly.
Your BMR does not drop when you fast at least not if you are active and have sufficient fat reserves. Starvation mode is mostly a myth.
You can thank decades of "finish your plate" and "children in Africa" for leaving millions of people in the West with a heavily skewed idea of what it means to be "full". We've also conditioned people to avoid satiating foods like meats and healthy fats.
The worst I've ever felt in the past 3 years of starting my new eating habits is when I had to go back to my old one of eating a carb-heavy diet (didn't have much in terms of choices or options). Ended up heavily constipated and feeling like I needed to slam back energy drinks just to keep myself going back 6pm. Once I finally got home and back on my usual grind of a low-card diet, all those issues cleared up instantly.
Also, since we're talking about large food companies influencing studies, I want to remind people that the push towards exercise as an efficacious method of weight loss for the average person is funded by Coca Cola.
basically only take nutritional advice from gym bros
It can be honestly difficult to at times. A lot of them are almost as annoying as vegans when it comes to butting in where no one asked. Even if it's good advice it can repel you from heeding it.
Sounds like a "healthy" mix of corruption and militant veganism.
Trust the science™! Eat ze bugs!
It's not even an attempt to push veganism. The reason for the sudden spring up of pea paste patties is because of investment returns.
Pea protein specifically is being pushed because it's an industrial waste from the manufacturing of crystal noodles in china.
Dunno, leftist governments in Europe and globalists like the WEF are currently pushing hard against animal products like meat.
Related: there's a long series about the Linear No-Threshold theory, which permeates the health "science" around toxicity and radiation exposure, that has recently been discredited and shown to be the work of fraud & corruption similar to the kind in this video. It's more than 20 hours long but I binged through the whole thing in 1 day, it's very interesting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5FjhgcnMjU
Almost all cereals are bad for you. It's various forms of carb dust that spike your blood sugar, in some cases worse than eating a candy bar. I never ate cereal as a kid except a couple times when when visiting friends or relatives, twice I got sick after eating it, then I just learned to refuse it when offered.
