There's a reason why oil & gas companies are paying record dividends, and it's not because muh Big Oil is muh price gouging. CapEx requires decades before they become profitable; between the Dementia-in-Chief dumping the Strategic Political Petroleum Reserve to suppress oil prices and climate communists wishing for the death of the industry, there's no fucking reason to invest beyond the bare minimum.
