Janet Protasiewicz 55.6%
Daniel Kelly 44.4%
Democrats now have full control of the Wisconsin election apparatus AND now the state supreme court.
Protasiewicz has been candid during her campaign for Supreme Court about her philosophy and values on issues such as abortion, gerrymandering, LGBTQ rights, and environmental protections.[2] She supports abortion rights and opposes the state's Republican-drawn legislative maps.
This creature is now the swing & deciding vote for all Wisconsin legal disputes.
Wisconsin is a "MUST WIN" state for Trump. There is now absolutely no chance of him winning the state. If you believe the election was stolen in 2020, then you have no choice but to accept it will be stolen by a much wider margin in 2024.
Trump has no path to victory on the electoral map anymore.
On top of losing Wisconsin tonight, the fact that full control of Arizona switched to the Democrats in the recent 2022 election also means that if you believe the election was stolen in Arizona in 2020, then you have no choice but to accept it will be stolen by a much wider margin in 2024.
Turnout seems to have been terrible for us; over half the Republicans I know didnt vote, despite me reminding them for more than a month.
Republicans are demoralized, inattentive, and seem to have just completely given up.
Additionally, the left has raised two successive generations with total ideological capture.
It's bizarre to think, but to most school students now, trannies, abortions, and "fighting fascism" are more normal and central topics than the video game console wars and weekend trips to my grandparents' farm which defined my childhood around 2008.
Teens now dont know what normal is, so they will never behave normally.
Likely my presence on this website will also shrink dramatically, as this loss tells me that even locally our political battle is unwinnable and I'm going to pivot from talking politics to finishing my garden and stockpiling household goods, silver, and anything else I need to ride out America's global decline in style.
It is a shame. Rural Wisconsin was in many ways a time capsule from the early 2000s. Nothing ever really changed, and life was still pretty good aside from the perpetually stagnant economy. I expect this is the first domino to fall and in the next few years we will share the same fate as Oregon.
Their normal is the tranny shit. :(
