Vivek Ramaswamy is well spoken and he has an interesting message.
I do like what he says about wokeism.
I will be candid and say he has no real shot primarily because he is running against Donald Trump and potentially also running against Ron DeSantis.
There is also an elephant in the room reason why Vivek Ramaswamy will struggle.
His ethnic Indian background is a huge negative for him.
The evangelical/Protestant White base of the GOP is just not going to nominate an Indian Hindu male.
Look at even some Trump voters of PA, some of these rural voters voted for both Mastriano and Fetterman. How does that make sense? The only reason is they could not stomach voting for Dr. Oz who is a Turkish Muslim. I will be blunt and say that I personally think PA has the worst voter base in the country. The existence of Mastriano/Fetterman voters is a blight.
The reality is that the GOP will lose many of their rural voter base when they don't nominate a White male candidate for POTUS.
As an Asian American myself I know that many rural White voters wouldn't vote for me if I ran for political office merely over my background. It is what it is.
I will agree that much of the rural base has generally been okay with Black Christian candidates in statewide races.
The issue is mainly when the candidate in question is not a Christian.
Vivek Ramaswamy is going to be the Andrew Yang of the GOP with regards to the results he achieves.
You think he has a legit shot? I’ve heard his interviews and he seems like a good dude

I knew some rural white Texans who voted for Allen West in the primaries. I told them I was voting Abbott since I didn’t see him losing
