People have joked about "liberating Canada" for years. Sadly, it's not jokes anymore.

The UK government will pass laws criminalizing all criticism of women, and looking at women against their consent.

The UK is still the worst of the bunch.

The worst in theory. In practice, Canada is still at the forefront.

If true, expect any opposition to the regime to be branded as "incited by Wagner".

I figured as much, the idea of the Wagner Group repealing the Declaration of Indpeendence and the Act of Union is pretty entertaining.

Wagner isn't really "private military", it's a GRU org. Being a mercenary, or employing mercenaries, is officially illegal in Russia, but their "private" status is only a facade so it doesn't matter. The smoke screen does work, so the countries can declare Wagner "transnational" terrorists instead of declaring the GRU a Russian terrorist organization.

It's also like how Prigozhin is a Jew, while the Wagner self-declared Nazis of Rusich shit talk the Azov guys for being "fake Nazis" (apparently not believing Azov claims how they're just Social Nationalists and not any National Socialists and all their SS symbolica is a coincidence) as they're "serving a Jew", unlike them, since they themselves know the real Wagner boss is Wagner (Utkin), who's a GRU man, and an open Nazi like them. While Prigozhin is not much than an useful idiot crook cook, being a very public persona of a career criminal clown oligarch, who believes he can and will succeed Putin if he only takes an Ukrainian town of 10,000 after longer than the Battle of Stalingrad, meanwhile Wagner himself works in shadows, literally as he hasn't even appeared in public for many years now.

if he only takes an Ukrainian town of 10,000 after longer than the Battle of Stalingrad,

And has blasted the area so much and had to resort to so much trench warfare it actually resembles a WW1 battlefield (complete with the casualty figures to match). I will never not laugh bringing up that fact, because it makes the Vatniks seethe.

It has the looks but rarely the numbers. I've seen only one section of no man's land actually covered in bodies like it's Somme or something.

And the whole talk of "human waves" is a misundersting because they send small groups of maybe 10 guys, sometimes as few as 3 or 4, just constantly and repeatedly in places. You can call it "waves" but not really "human waves" which is for actual mass attacks. Russian phrase for something like that is instead "sending meat", similar in meaning to the English "cannon fodder".

There are many places with many bodies remaining inside or stacked just outside the trenches, though. And they may all start rotting all at once pretty soon.

Given that Russian propaganda, including that of Prigozhin's own Wagner Group, clearly frames the problem in the West as 'Nazism' rather than something more akin to Marxism, I don't think I want his 'help'.

Turkish volunteers delusionally believing that they're fighting against the 'Nazis that are ruling Ukraine today'. What Nazis? Zelensky? Shmyal?:

https://odysee.com/@RT:fd/TV_T%C3%BCrkiye:4

Putin, because German tanks are being given to the Ukrainians: "Now we can see that ideas of Nazism [are] creating direct threats to [the] security of our country." Yep, just because tanks manufactured in Germany are being given to the Ukraine, it's a Nazi invasion all over again.

https://odysee.com/@RT:fd/Putin_Volgograd_0202:4

Simpleminded and highly unappealing Wagner Group propaganda which clearly frames the enemy as.... you guessed it, Nazis. Includes lyrics translated as "Fuck the Nazis. Fucking Nazis. Fucking Nazis."

https://alivegore.com/war/5070-wagner-pmc-promotional-video.html

Wagner Group propaganda, this time directed at an American audience. Clearly equates modern day America with... Nazism. Displays Azovite quasi-Nazi symbols, narrator then claims: "Today, the only country fighting this evil [i.e. Nazis] is Russia".

https://alivegore.com/war/6455-a-commercial-urging-americans-to-join-pmc-wagner.html

I don't think it's an overstatement to claim that Mr. Prigozhin literally believes that 'Westerners' are governed by Nazis and thus that these are whom they need to be 'liberated' from. I don't see how contemporary Russia is any less moronic than those whom Mr. Prigozhin claims are in need of 'liberation'. They're a bunch of Nazi-obsessed abortionist alcoholics. Those propaganda videos are about as cringeworthy as anything the American military puts out.

Basically, both sides are in the midst of an anti-fascist crusade. What's intriguing is that the anti-fascists on each side think that the anti-fascists on the other are the 'real fascists'. That's all there is to it: wholesale anti-fascist on anti-fascist violence that has probably wiped out well over 200,000 anti-fascists by now. Clown war.

That sounds oddly familiar...

Before I learned who put this out, I figured this was the WEF push to delegitimize governments so they can take direct control. Hard to tell the difference.

Dont you know that Wokeness and Liberalism are totally hyper-oppressive forces that are keeping you in chains right now!? You should join forces with the Russian Empire, and together we can crush them all, throw them in camps, and we...Oh wait, your black (flips through "How Do Propaganda" book)...The American Government is keeping you in chains and killing your people in the streets for the crime of existing! You should join forces with the You should join forces with the Russian Empire, and together we can crush them all, throw them in camps, and we will rule the world!

Being more serious, I have found it extremely bizarre that the anti-Woke have started simping for Russia and China even though both are evil nations that actually engage in hardcore, systematic oppression and would probably gulag-ize almost all of them as threats to the state (dont you know freedom is evil?!). Just because the Woke currently running the West are evil doesnt mean I am willing to trade one evil for another. And I am not willing to consign others to evil just to spite the Woke (motions at Ukraine and Taiwan).

I seldom agree with OP, but I do believe that 'democracy' is a joke. It's not real. Power is not held by people, but by the elites.

china and russia aren't behind the propaganda that has destroyed the united states

They are explicitly a factor in this through the communist machine. Look up yuri besmenov, the 45 goals of the communists from 1963, and "the long march through the institutions".

You have countless people whose lives have been destroyed, who've been made to kneel and beg for mercy while having their lives destroyed (Amy Cooper),

While I believe that a great injustice has been done to Amy Cooper for literally nothing, you could have cited a better example for the evils of the regime.

but it's not muh evil state doing it so you don't care, because you're a lib, and the worst kind of a lib: a shitlib

There is no reason to insult someone because he disagrees with you. Generally, "you believe <bad thing> because you are <another bad thing>" are not either persuasive or impressive.

Btw, imagine having any loyalty to a degenerate empire that's turning the west into a Little Africa. Like unironically thinking that the people doing so, and libs before "woke" have been doing so for decades, are actually less evil than China and Russia, lmao.

I'm mystified by people who think that the people protecting rape gangs and killing millions of people around the world in wars are somehow better than Russia and China. But I'm not going to be condescending about it. If you're going to be this arrogant when talking to someone who believes that probably 95% of people believe, you're not going to get anywhere.

Also lmao, imagine talking about gulgags while US literally has prisoners work for piss poor pay (freedom, am I right?),

The US at least has some semblance of due process. The people in the gulags were political prisoners. In the US, at the very worst, a small minority of people are political prisoners.

and literally spending billions so more Slavic people can die for its goals of global domination.

And this is a very good point.

it's not an extreme example (E.G., that professor committing suicide, etc).

I'm glad he is not forgotten.

As I've said elsewhere, the point of saying someone is a lib isn't to insult them, but to identify them (their beliefs/role) regardless of what they larp as. With that said, insults are good. I find them enjoyable, albeit not the most basic ones. I find Augustus's approach good,:

I don't think so. The guy you're talking to is clearly not a bad guy. He just disagrees with you on some points. And they are fair points! You may think that the regime is worse than Russia or China, but you should demonstrate this with argument rather than with name-calling that is similar to the leftist "RACIST!"

I can't sympathize with people who buy into the most vile propaganda re: few countries that actually aren't absorbed, especially as they are about the only ones currently who can pose a challenge to achieve, if nothing else, a multipolar world.

And this is a good argument.

Make that instead of the name-calling. A multipolar world is good.

If someone witnesses same propaganda being used country after country to justify some of the worst policies of the degenerate empire, and keeps buying into it, they are ngmi. That's my genuine belief, and at that point I can ignore them completely or treat them accordingly. I often opt for former.

I think you underestimate how easy it is to not fall victim to propaganda. From OP's perspective, as flawed as Western countries are, at least they are not as corrupt as Russia, they allow some limited measure of free speech, and the lives of ordinary citizens are better in Russia and have more freedom than in China.

That is not exactly a supremely unreasonable view.

Furthermore, as I've said, insults are enjoyable

But they may not accomplish much. They may entertain you, but when in response to a widely held view that is not exactly unreasonable, it's going to make the other guy think: what a nutcase. And dismiss whatever valid points you do have.

I'm aware of his perspective and values he's displayed, hence why I've accordingly referred to him as a lib.

I'll gladly defend the idea that you can be critical of wokeness, while also saying that this does not require you to side with China or Russia, without being a 'lib'. Whatever that is defined as.

The American Government is keeping you in chains and killing your people in the streets for the crime of existing!

I get what you mean, but Ashli Babbitt was real.

That said, the American government generally does not kill its own subjects, but people elsewhere. Same for its European vassals.

I have found it extremely bizarre that the anti-Woke have started simping for Russia and China even though both are evil nations

All nations are evil, in the sense that politics and the good are not compatible.

Just because the Woke currently running the West are evil doesnt mean I am willing to trade one evil for another.

Good for you! But one evil can be used to balance another. I shudder to think how much more empowered and emboldened the regime will be if it prevails in its proxy war in Ukraine. You may not like Russia or China, and neither do I (which is why I live in Western Europe), but they are one of the few places where the regime does not hold sway.

And I am not willing to consign others to evil just to spite the Woke (motions at Ukraine and Taiwan).

Nor am I, which is why I hope for the liberation of Little Russians from their government controlled by America.
