Okay but the numbers don't lie. Women are the primary audience by a huge margin.
I've seen a fair number of rom-coms over the years and they aren't all terrible. But I've only seen them on TV several years after they were released. Their box office has to be damn near 80% female with the other 20% being dude's who are trying to bang the girl they're with.
Shame he didn't have the balls to directly call women out.
It isn't straight men who watch romcoms, regardless of topic.
