I'm not a big fan of the traffic cone orange color, but the uniforms look professional, pragmatic, and comfortable, certainly more so than wearing a tight skirt and heels for eight hours a day.
Every woman I've ever talked to about high heels said they are uncomfortable, but they wear them to look good.
I actually find women more attractive when they are dressed more pragmatically. It indicates that they are more concerned with getting shit done than with being eye candy.
The things we associate with female glamor, like high heels and long nails, are deliberately the opposite of useful, because they are women's way of signalling that they are so well provided for that they don't need to labor, so they can afford to be impractical. It's like women advertising that they are high maintenance.
So I'm not going to lose any sleep over flight attendants trying to make their shitty jobs better by wearing something more comfortable.
Unpopular opinion time.
