Quick skim makes the survey's findings sound reasonable and even encouraging. CNN peppers it with pics of a crying woman and what seems to be a child (even though I don't think children were surveyed), and repeatedly mentions the changes in neuroticism, despite it having changed little. To them it's a scary story because since 2021 there have been decreases in:
extraversion, openness, agreeableness and conscientiousness
Hmm, what a great mystery. I wonder why so many people would be less likely to hang out with, tell secrets to, obey or care about the huge mass of cunts that they've discovered their fellow citizens to be, particularly those people who occupy our institutions. Sounds like a rational and healthy response to me; bad news for those with guilty consciences.
I used to be a chill, happy guy. I've basically become a grumpy recluse because I learned how stupid, weak and insane people are, and how quickly they'll throw you under the bus to gobble establishment cock. I can't tolerate normies anymore. There are few people worth my time and energy.
I'm not totally sure I'd say it changed my personality but it definitely changed me. The traits they mention I've changed depending on the person. Less open and agreeable to the insane people trying to destroy the world, more open and agreeable to people close to me that stuck with me through Covid clownery. Definitely made me realize who gives a crap about me and who was faking it, and I'd say a lot of the things I do differently now versus 2019 are a defensive response to having the government try to destroy my life, I just chose to try to go about it in a way that makes me happy and not angry.
But you kinda wonder from the survey itself, I bet people their "declines" in personality are a defensive response too. Is that not to be expected when everything is under attack?
I can't imagine people suddenly realizing a lot they've been taught about how society functions is a lie meant to control them would engender trust. Then having their choices taken from them, their society taken from them, easy access to every creature comfort, increase in miseries, being told their choices are wrong and how the elites are correct, how their children are being harmed, how the fucking....
Yeah, some people went on authoritarian binges just because they could, and desperately want it to continue so they can feel better about themselves for doing good for once in their pathetic lives.

That was basically my conclusion as well. They are trying to spin it for control, while it shows the opposite.

That was a lot of Seattle before Covid.
I'm sure these people were always this way, it just took a big enough psyop to expose them.
Yeah, they were good at being nice till the trap had sprung. Most of Seattle isn't that way, but those snakes made it feel like it was everyone.

I agree
