This is the mentality of the virtue-signalers. They don't say certain words, not because they wish to treat people with decency, but because they believe that by not using those particular words they are accumulating points.

If they ever feel like their points are losing value, the very first thing they do is use the words. Because, why not? If all those points are worthless, why play the game.
