What I like is New York politicians trotting out the same, tired arguments the hoplophobes always use when concealed carry comes up for debate.
Mayor Eric Adams "We have been preparing for this decision and will continue to do everything possible to work with our federal, state, and local partners to protect our city,” Adams went on. “Those efforts will include a comprehensive review of our approach to defining ‘sensitive locations’ where carrying a gun is banned, and reviewing our application process to ensure that only those who are fully qualified can obtain a carry license … we cannot allow New York to become the Wild West.”
That hasn't ever happened in any of the 43 states that have shall issue, or the 25 who allow carry without a permit at all.
Now, we all know that New York will trill try to make it as difficult as possible to obtain a permit, because gun grabbers are nothing if not persistent, but all they are doing is setting up grounds for yet another lawsuit, a lawsuit they will loose, thanks to the expanded scrutiny this suit set up.

I'll have you know that with constitutional carry, Texas is now the wild west, pimp style.
