Elon doesnt strike me as party guy. He just votes for whatever party advances his ideas. Previous, it was the DNC because they funded his "green" car company. Now its the republicans because theyre not completely insane (though give it a few years and theyll have adopted all the DNC's positions to a T).
We need a solution that exists outside the two party system.
Approval voting always lets voters choose their favorite candidates regardless of viability. That’s great news for third parties and independents because that’s exactly what they need to grow...
Ranked Choice Voting has maintained massive two-party domination everywhere it has seen long-term widespread use. The most noteworthy example is Australia, where RCV has been used in their House of Representatives since 1918.
This seems to result from voters insincerely exaggerating their rankings. For instance, an RCV voter who favors a minor party will tend to insincerely rank his favorite major party candidate in first place. Why? Two reasons:
That actually is the best strategy with RCV.
Most voters don’t understand the mathematics of their voting system, so when faced with a ranked ballot, they will tend to use the “naive exaggeration strategy“. This entails looking at frontrunners and accordingly ranking one as best and the other worst, regardless of preference to other candidates.

"Conserving" liberalism from 20 years ago. :P
Sounds good. You vote for policy, not a side.
It can't happen without a switch to ranked voting.
Approval Voting is better for 3rd Parties.

I didn't know about approval voting. Thanks for the link.
Additionally:
Fact: Rhodesians that come to the US are African American refugees.
Is the reverse also true- is the wealthiest Republican an African American?
I believe this checks out, and in turn all the other White billionaires are teaming up against the African American billionaire, racist much?
