https://archive.ph/V8r9L - Bullshit website claims that welfare works to reduce crime, cites those who aged out of welfare state they were forced into as children are 20% more likely to commit crimes to get money (robbery, prostitution, drug dealing). Says sure, some worked harder, but others turned to life of crime to get by. Doesn't provide any context of 'why, crime?' only draws the conclusion welfare prevents crimes.
tl;dr: Makes claims, no actual evidence. Typical leftit bullshit.

Disability is a racket in the United States. People should realize how many are on it. It's been the preferred method of backdoor welfare for adults for many years. Most homeless people in LA are receiving some kind of disability benefit, and not cuz they got their legs blown off in 'Nam, either.
One could even argue that there's no incentive to participate in the regular economy, and every incentive to go 'under the table' when you're receiving any form of welfare, disability included.
If the government says 'if you earn other money, you lose your benefit,' then it makes sense to earn money in ways the government doesn't track: grey/black markets or criminal activity.
Tons of incentive. Particularly if you are already predisposed to working in, shall we say, untaxed industries. Anyone who thinks the welfare queen is a Republican myth hasn't spent any significant time in the ghetto. They be real.
Absolutely. You can live well enough between having your kids and their friends slinging dope on the corner and getting the check from Uncle Sugar every Mother's Day.
Then again, there's the construction "subcontractor" who's a paycheck away from homelessness who needs food stamps during periods of seasonal unemployment and Medicaid because he has a chronically ill kid and his jobs offer zero insurance because he is technically "self-employed." Should this guy try to retool for a higher-paying job with benefits, seeing as how he's got two kids, one of whom is disabled, and use state aid as a stopgap while he does so?
This strikes me as a sort of gray area.
