Goebbels would be the better comparison, as he was the Minister of Propaganda, except he tried to stick to the truth as much as possible. He had a deep respect for the German people and believed them to be too sophisticated for blatant lies. Miss Information has nothing but contempt for Americans and enjoys forcing them to repeat her lies, as it is emasculating and an emasculated liar is easier to control.

The best lies are based on the truth. A lot of the people around Hitler were quite intelligent and probably a big reason for their initial success.

That's how it's becoming so easy to see through the modern-day doctrine, it's becoming so disconnected from reality it stands out. Except most of the followers aren't sophisticated enough to tell.

Yep. The better analogue for the new agency would be Pravda, which was commie lies published under the name of 'Truth.'

I am honestly lost for words.

But this one is nice

claiming that she has pushed misleading information herself in recent years on COVID-19 and Hunter Biden's laptop.

I'm rather sure that this is why she was chosen.

She is not calling for this power.

Twitter already gave her this power years ago, along with everyone who was "Verified", which is why Conservatives got their verification removed.

I did not realize verified people could Edit other people's tweets.

They don't edit other people's tweets, they are the ones who insert the "context" into the tweet in order to decide how to ban it.

This is so adorable. Two sides of the same coin playfighting in obvious Kabuki theater.

Surprised you didn't mention all the women in that conference call
