Used to work at a ski resort and yeah, that shit was a daily thing. Frankly I'm just surprised the person wasn't also over weight. For some fucking reason, fatties loved to take skiing lessons, just for the sole sake of fucking up the instructor's back, because you bet your ass they can't get back up themselves. Why we even gave adult beginners poles fucking baffled me. They never used them the way they needed to and always treated them like crutches. If you can't ski without them, you sure as shit can't ski with them.
